Overall Experience

Very happy with the care provided and know that if we have any concerns, they will be addressed. Mam went in at the beginning of the pandemic which was very challenging for everyone concerned, but the staff were great and kept us informed throughout lockdown. Any initial issues were identified and resolved as soon as possible. IT issues remain a problem for family who do not live locally. Friendly, cheerful staff who are always approachable and willing to help. A varied programme of activities which show they are trying to cater for every resident's needs. Lots of changes (painting furniture, flooring) in the home which are great. Brilliant Jubilee celebrations. Please Sanctuary, look after your staff as well as they look after our loved ones.

Overall, satisfied with the care provided. Could be a bit more homely, more institutional than previously, especially for upstair residents. Staff are amazing, friendly and very approachable.

Delighted with the care my husband is receiving. Very helpful and kind to me when I visit. They coped very well during the shortage of staff and the virus.

The only thing missing that I notice is that there is no internet connection since ownership changed earlier in the year. We are unable to view our Cloud photographs on Ipad. Everything else is excellent.

Overall Experience

This has been an extremely worrying time for people with elderly relatives in care homes with their vulnerability to Covid infection. Throughout this period, the staff have phoned us regularly to keep us informed about the situation in the home, this has helped massively in alleviating our worries. This was not a surprise to us, as since my mother became a resident in the home, we have always felt that we have been well informed of her situation and condition. We feel that we have been very fortunate that she has a place in this care home, especially over this stressful time.

Overall Experience

My mother has been a resident at the Meadows Nursing Home since November 2018. The Matron and all her staff, from the start, have always been friendly and welcoming. They care for Mum and always make a point of recognising her needs, likes and dislikes. The recent pandemic brought difficulties for residents, staff and relatives. Government rules have been hard for everyone so I cannot praise the staff enough for their kindness and support, always keeping the family informed of Mum's welfare. The staff have been excellent throughout these difficult times and despite the pandemic, their attitude and dedication has remained positive and the level of care has been maintained at a very high standard.

Very good experience of speaking with and emails with staff. Whilst not being able to see the home on the inside due to the current Covid situation, we have a good sense of the place from the interactions.
