I've already reviewed this care home but just wanted to congratulate them on dealing so sensitively with residents and relatives during Covid. The staff have gone out of their way to facilitate visiting, working within the restrictive guidelines. As an ex infectious diseases nurse, I'm very happy with the use of PPE and infection control practices at Ashley Court. Communication is excellent as always. Congratulations and thanks to you all for the affectionate care you give my relative.

All Ashley court staff from cleaners, catering, reception, care assist, nurses and management went out of their way, not only to make my Mother’s life more comfortable, but made all the family, including my father, always welcome. They were an inspiration to my mum and us to the latter end. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all and hope all residents and staff are safe during COVID 19.

It is so good to know that you, your Father and family were so pleased with the level of care provided to your Mother during her time with us. It is always very welcome for the staff to hear. Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this feedback. Take good care too.

I would recommend this care home as my mum is being so well cared for here. My mum is physically very able but due to dementia, struggles to make sense of the world around her. With all her complex needs taken care of and due to her dementia causing a mental deterioration, they have constant reviews and change to her care plan. There are lots of activities for mum to take part in and although her attention span is short, she is always encouraged to join in. This care home has a minibus for day trips up to 3 a week which my mum particularly enjoys.

My mother was taken into care following a diagnosis of Dementia as she was unable to take care of herself at home. Despite some initial concerns that being in a care home was akin to being institutionalised, we quickly realised that this was a warm, caring and truly professional environment, the staff and facilities being second to none and providing the safety, security and stimulation needed with her condition. They actively encourage participation in various supervised activities, both within the home and small supervised groups day trips. Unfortunately, she later suffered a stroke which set her back, restricting her capabilities. However, due to the level of personal care provided by the staff she has since improved and regained sufficient functionality to enable in part and albeit restricted, some participation in the daily events which the care home provides. We are kept informed of her health and wellbeing and on all occasions made to feel most welcome. Highly recommend.

I am sorry that your mother suffered a stroke but it is so good that she has improved and can participate to a level she feels comfortable with.

My husband has received the best of care. The staff at the Home have always been very kind, helpful and always come back to me every time I have had any concerns. The food is excellent and my husband's room is kept clean and tidy at all times and is very comfortable. Trips and entertainment are run regularly. I feel very reassured that I can leave him in excellent hands.

My mum has been twice into Ashley Court, the staff are so professional I have chosen to place my mum on the waiting list for residential care. The management take time to know the resident together with their Family and are very friendly, made my mum and the family feel homely. Further respite has been planned, and hope it is not too long until my mum is safely placed into Ashley Court.

I would like to say a big thank you to the manageress and all her staff.
