45 Belgrave Road, Edinburgh EH12 6NG
Belgrave Lodge recognise that elderly people can retain many of their capabilities albeit perhaps restricted in certain areas because of their advanced years. The home’s dedicated team of carers aim to provide the best possible safe environment to encourage independence, dignity and freedom of choice along with promoting physical well-being and intellectual stimulation.
Moving in can be stressful for both residents and relatives and great care is taken to arrange this in a caring and sensitive manner. Residents are encouraged to bring in items of a personal nature such as pictures, photographs or small items of furniture to ensure that there are ‘reference points’ to ease the transition.
Freshly prepared home cooked food is varied and wholesome, individual dietary requirements are carefully considered and personal likes or dislikes are always catered for. The recognised high standards of care and total capacity of only 33, gives the homely atmosphere and caring environment for which Belgrave Lodge has had considerable praise.
