Thank you to everyone involved in the recent BBQ. The whole afternoon ran smoothly, & was a celebration of everything Lorimer has to offer: extremely caring, friendly & attentive staff, & thoughtful organisation & high quality delivery of a social event. A relaxed atmosphere, buzzing with enjoyment, was evident. Staff circulated constantly, engaging in conversation & looking after everyone. The theme was America's 250th birthday, & the gardens were decorated with appropriate bunting, residents, staff & guests dressed in 'western' attire, & superb catering offered burgers & delicious homemade salads. Entertainment was a live singer, who enhanced the positive feel with popular songs from the 60s & 70s. Two lovely staff showcased line dancing, contributing further to the fun of the day. The person I visit enjoyed the occasion immensely, as did I. Exceptional job, Lorimer!
The activities and exercise classes that Lorimer House provide are very important to her and she particularly likes the Art Club.
She is very well cared for.
Thank you for your lovely review we appreciate you taking the effort to share your nice words
More recently, however, her health has deteriorated, and the quality of care has gotten even better.
The staff are caring, compassionate, well trained and hardworking; while the frequency and quality of communication between the family and the management team, has been exceptional.
The home is always clean, bright and welcoming, and Zenab and Ryan are an exceptional managemnt team.
I could not recommend Lorimer House enough, and our family is grateful for the suberb work all the staff do, every day. Thank you
I'm really grateful of your kind review I will pass this onto the team
Went for the wonderful Festive Tea with mum on Wednesday 10th. As always we've been blown away by the thought and effort that the staff put into the day. The room is very festive and attention to detail is superb. The food was delicious and we all had a fantastic time with mum. Thanks again to the amazing staff for making the lunch magical. Happy Christmas.
Our family member over into Lorimer House in February 2025. Since then we have been so impressed with the unity of care and attention that is given every day. The level of kindness shown by the staff is exceptional.
Now today we are enjoying a festive tea in a private room organised by the staff and on mum's 85th birthday . No surprise that the food is just superb and we're having a great time .
Thank you to all the staff for making this possible ....
Thank you for your kind review, it's so great to hear your positive feedback
Been to the annual Christmas High Tea at Lorimer House and it was absolutely beautiful. Room decorated and Christmas music. Food spectacular and extremely well presented. Staff couldn't be more helpful and Mum very happy . Thank you so much for everything you all do for her.
Thank you for a wonderful review the team are very grateful
If I eventually required residence in a care home I d be happy to be cared for in Lorimer .
Lorimer House provides the care she needs. The staff are excellent and provide personal attention as and when required. The individual rooms with ensuite bathrooms ensure she has privacy whilst the shared sitting room and dining room allows her to interact with other residents. The Home is well maintained with high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. My wife has settled in well and seems very happy with her surroundings and the level of care she receives. For my part, I am relieved that she is relaxed and content, and I am confident that she is in safe hands.
Thank you so much for putting your trust in us. We will do our best.
We have just enjoyed a fabulous Christmas afternoon tea which was very much enjoyed by all. Mum really enjoyed herself and it was so nice to sit together as a family. The care home has been beautifully decorated and the staff are happy and helpful.
It was delicious, beautifully presented and very much appreciated.
Our mother has received excellent care within the Lorimer setting. The staff are extremely welcoming and caring and I particularly enjoyed seeing the gentle encouragement given to my mum to participate and enjoy a dance with staff at the Christmas party.
We would like to thank all the staff for their continued hard work, warmth and cheerfulness.
We appreciate your efforts every day.
Thank you for your lovely words. The team will appreciate this great review.
My mother has been living at Lorimer House for over two years. There has been continuity for many of the staff over that period of time so they get to know the residents and understand their needs and moods. The staff are cheerful, patient and caring. The care home is always bright and welcoming with the garden a huge asset.
Thank you for your feedback, we all greatly appreciate your engagement and will continue to do our best.
We enjoyed a delicious and lovely annual Christmas festive tea with our mother this morning. It was very special to spend time with her in a festive setting. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. As always, there had been a lot of attention and care taken to provide a lovely experience we could enjoy together as a family.
Thank you for your kind words. The team will be delighted to hear your feedback. Merry Christmas.
The overall care and attention is first class and is greatly appreciated by family. Meals are excellent and the variety of activities stimulates the residents and the outside visits are looked forward to.
Very kind of you. Greatly appreciate this feedback.
Our mother who is approaching her 102nd birthday has now been in Lorimer House, Juniper Green for about 18 months. During all this time we have been very impressed by the complete care that is given not only to the residents but we also feel as Mum's immediate family, my sister and I are cared for as well. Everything is always immaculately clean and the outside gardens are beautifully cared for The outside space is very important to Mum and the other residents. many diverse entertainment and activities are organised with quite a few including family members. A happy place!
Thank you for your lovely review. The team really appreciate your feedback. Thanks.
Our mother has now been a resident of Lorimer House for more than one year. She was over 100 years old and becoming too frail to stay safely in her own home. We were attracted to Lorimer House when looking for a care home as it is a such beautiful place and obviously kept to a very high standard. We now also know and appreciate just how caring every member of staff is. Their skills are obvious and added to this they are all so welcoming and friendly when we visit. The extra effort put into several special events has added to our whole family's experience. To mention only a few there was a wonderful afternoon tea party in the garden, an amazing fireworks show, a special Christmas private afternoon tea party for each resident and a few guests, birthdays and Christmas are made special too. Mother is safe, well looked after and happy at Lorimer House and as a family we can highly recommend this place.
Thank you so much. It's a lovely review and appreciated greatly. Thank you.
My mother has been a resident of Lorimer House for the last year and a half, and throughout that time, the care she has received has been nothing short of excellent. All staff have, without exception, been helpful and friendly, and particularly during her last days, we felt that she was cared for with such kindness and skill. A huge thank you to all of the staff!
Thank you for your kind review. We will keep doing our best to support.
Our dealings with the staff are always very friendly and my cousin has integrated well with both the residents and staff.
Thank you for your kind words, our team appreciates your support.
My Dad moved into Lorimer House in February 2024. This is my family's third resident in this care home, both my in-laws were here in recent years. The surroundings, level of care provided, friendliness and professionalism of all staff are outstanding. It is very comforting for me to know that my Dad's care is tailored to his individual needs. My family and I are always made super welcome when we visit and we can see for ourselves how loving and caring the staff are towards the residents. Lorimer House and its beautiful gardens are kept in pristine condition thanks to the hard work and dedication of the wonderful staff.
Thank you for your support. We are grateful you have trusted us with your family and we will continue to try our best.
There are regular activities for all residents and events to include family, such as Christmas afternoon tea, during which families are left to enjoy the time with their relatives in private.
A lovely care home where furniture and carpeting are changed if they show any kind of wear and tear, and the outdoor areas are maintained.
Thanks to the manager and the team who ensure visits are always a joy.
Thank you for your kind words; it is really appreciated.
