My mother is being well cared for. Her needs are considered sensitively. The staff are positive and very friendly. As a family we were very pleased and impressed with the way in which the care home staff brought my mother to a family wedding. The member of staff who accompanied her dressed appropriately and looked after my mother during the event very well. She was well dressed and the staff on duty had helped her look her best.
Thank you for your feedback - I'm glad we can support you and your family
Since my mother arrived at Lorimer House she has been looked after so well and it has been a great relief to all the family knowing she is receiving the care she needs. The staff are lovely and very patient and caring.
Thank you for a lovely review. We appreciate your support very much.
The festive high tea was absolutely perfect - 10/10. The table was set beautifully, did not expect anything like this. Full praise for everything, and had a lovely morning with my family. Nothing was a bother. The home is always well presented, and the staff are very welcoming. My aunt feels she could not be in a better place.
Thank you.
Mum and Dad moved into Lorimer House during Covid. My sister and I cannot thank the staff enough for their care in a very difficult time. This has continued to date, although now it is only Mum, as sadly, Dad passed last year. Our thanks go out to all the staff.
Thank you so much for your amazing feedback. I greatly appreciate your trust in us, and I will pass this on to the team.
Very pleased with Lorimer House. Arranging to become a resident was very smooth and quick. Lorimer House is very homely, and there is nothing too much trouble. Staff and management are first class.
Thank you for your fantastic feedback; we really appreciate your support.
Fantastic lunch, and many thanks to the care home again. Thanks for looking after my wife's mum. She is treated with dignity and respect by the staff of Lorimer. We really appreciate the work that Lorimer does.
Thank you for your kind words. I will make sure to pass this on to the team.
A really good high tea with mum. Lots of good food, staff very attentive to mum's needs. Christmas crackers, tea and coffee provided. Mum had a good time reminiscing.
Thank you for your kind words and feedback. We are glad you are enjoying our service
I had a lovely festive high tea with my dad and brothers. The food was delicious and the private room made it a lovely experience for my dad. It was the usual high standard of service from a very caring staff.
Thank you for your review. A member of our management team will be in touch to further improve on any area of our service
Had a lovely afternoon Festive High Tea at Lorimer House. The food was delicious, the decorations great and the staff flawless, especially the Duty Manager. Was a wonderful afternoon and a nice return to normality.

Mum has been in Lorimer House for over a year now and the staff are amazing. They do the best job looking after and caring for our loved ones. Always happy to help and it's just one big family. I cannot rate the staff and service more. Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely comments its really appreciated.
We always get a warm welcome from the staff on our weekly visits. Today's visit was for the festive afternoon tea in a side room. It was a well-thought-out spread for us all, including the vegetarian. It went down very well with my cousin, who enjoys her food. The staff also checked all was well every so often.
So glad you enjoyed our Christmas activity. Thank you for your support. I will pass on your feedback to the team.
We regularly visit our Godmother in the home and have found our experience, on the whole, very positive. The staff are friendly and helpful and carry out their duties to a high standard in spite of difficult circumstances at times. The accommodation seems comfortable and clean and it is good to see some activities starting up again as Covid restrictions ease.
Dorothy seems to be content and has become more communicative responding to discussion, my only concern is that her walking seems to have deteriorated since she came from the Western General. The staff are courteous and kind and cheerful. The home is very well presented and the rooms are clean and attractive.I
Thank you for your review, we are appreciated your support.
Excellent staff always very helpful and friendly. They have very quickly made my aunt feel settled and treat her with respect and care. The grounds of the home are beautiful and inside the home is always exceptionally clean.
Thank you for your kind words, I will pass them on to the team who will be grateful for your support.
Glad to see my sister settling in and being cared for very well. She still thinks she will get home but accepts that she needs to be cared for. She is now clean and interacting with other residents. Reading has always been important and she has a pile of books in her room.
Thank you for your kind words. We appreciate your support
The staff team at Lorimer House should be commended for their incredible resilience and the outstanding care they have delivered. To me you're in every sense of the word truly"amazing" I have slept easy knowing how safe and well cared for Mum is.
Thank you so much for your support over the past year. We all really appreciate it.
When I visited on Tuesday 16 March 2021 he was much brighter and more engaged with every one of the staff than he was last year.
Thanks for all the "seesaw" pictures - it helped us, seeing him looking ok when we couldn't visit.
Kind regards,
Sean
She celebrated her 100th Birthday last August and the staff pulled out all the stops for her then - thank you.
Overall the staff, under the guidance of the manager are very kind, sensible, caring and responsive - so important when you are so dependent and elderly.
Lorimer House's creative idea of inviting 2 family members to a festive afternoon tea with a loved one brought a very welcome opportunity for my sister and I to spend a celebratory hour together today with our mother, despite the covid pandemic. The high tea itself resembled that of a 5-star hotel, and we all had fun with pulling crackers and admiring the beautifully decorated room. All the staff continues to give their best and to provide high-quality care.
Thank you for your kind words. Your mum has always been one of our biggest characters and I know she loves our events and the fireworks etc. I'm glad you guys made it and had so much fun. We appreciate your comments.
Stay safe and take care
Thank you so much to all the staff, for all your loving care. You couldn't have done better for my lovely mum.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I’m grateful that we had the opportunity to care for your mum and even more grateful you were happy.
