Overall Experience

My brother and I feel extremely fortunate that there was a vacancy at Lorimar House for our mother last year. Community care options had all been used and her care needs were great. From pre-admission meetings, visits to the home and speaking with staff, the placement at Lorimer House just felt right. The location is not too far from where Mum stayed previously. Most importantly, the attitudes and caring approach from nursing and care staff has been superb, with a special word for the leadership team. Food and fabric and gardens are very good.

Overall Experience

We are very happy with the care and support which our mother has received in Lorimer House for the past two years four months. We are always confident that her needs are being met by competent, caring staff with whom she has been able to develop good relationships. The manager is professional, friendly and approachable. She leads a well-organised team and together they create a warm, welcoming ethos in a very pleasant setting where residents can choose to participate in a wide range of activities.

Overall Experience

The care my mother receives at Lorimer House is excellent. All of the staff; nursing care and ancillary treat residents with respect, dignity and great kindness. The atmosphere in the home is very positive and the staff exude love and warmth. The recent family Barbeque day was a wonderful occasion enormously enjoyed by residents and their families. The staff really worked hard to make it a joyful, fun event.
