Unable to provide a review of facilities etc so I haven't viewed the home. My overall experience with management, staff and finance have been excellent and professional. My mum is happy, content and properly cared for which helps myself and all the family be content and less worried that mum is being properly cared for with dignity, respect, humour and kindness.

My Mum only came to the home 4-weeks ago, and she has settled in so well during a really difficult time. Having not seen her for 8-weeks, it was fabulous to see her looking so happy and content, due to the excellent care she has received so far. All the staff I've had contact with have been kind, caring and super helpful and they're care is obvious just by looking at Mum.

Thank you, thank you to all the staff at Eastwood Court as far as aim concerned you are all angels!

My mum is a long term resident of Eastwood Court. She has been well cared for during the Covid pandemic. When I saw her after a five months break due to Coronavirus restrictions, I was delighted by how well she looked. It is a tribute to the care that the staff offered.

Eastwood Court staff cared for my Dad during the last 10 months of his life. They dealt patiently with his dementia and worked hard to get to know his personality. He was cared for warmly and with attention to detail. It was such a comfort to our family that in the time of his death he was with such lovely carers whom he had come to know well. Thank you so much for all you did to give Dad a good quality of life and death.

Our Mum has been a resident since August 2019. My sister and I visited quite a few nursing homes before making our choice of Eastwood Court. Mum and ourselves have not been disappointed. The management and staff make every effort with our Mum and treat her with respect and dignity. Since Mum took residence and during this very trying time, their care and attention given to Mum are above excellent, and we as a family cannot thank them enough.

My mum has been a resident at Eastwood Court for a year now. The management has changed and I was a bit apprehensive about how things would go, but the new manager is very caring and has the residents' best interests at heart. The staff are friendly, kind and caring with some going beyond the call of duty. My mum very much enjoys being occupied and entertained, and the staff in charge of arranging activities are excellent.

During the current situation, Covid-19, I have felt that mum was looked after well. I appreciate how difficult it has been for the management and staff. They have been amazing and I would like to thank them very much. Their hard work has been greatly appreciated.

Mum has been at Eastwood Court for over ten years and we have always been happy that she was well looked after. Clearly the last few months have been a very challenging but what has shone through is that the staff really do care for Mum as an individual and have provided warm and concerned treatment for her throughout the isolation period. The whole situation has been well managed both at company and local level and the staff have made it as easy as possible for us to stay in touch with Mum and keep us advised about her health and well-being.

I wish to thank all the staff for taking such good care of my father. They nursed him through having Covid-19 and promptly phoned an ambulance when he had breathing difficulties. They informed me straight away and ensured he had everything he needed to take to hospital. I am hoping he will get well enough to return to Eastwood Court. The staff are all wonderful, so dedicated and welcoming.

Our mum has been in Eastwood Court since August 2019 and has received excellent care. She is respected and treated well. There has been a change of manager in her time there, and this has seen many improvements being rolled out and disappointing elements being corrected and improved; which is heartening. Staff are mostly very good, and the management is very approachable when issues arise.

I think the food has not been great, but I understand there are efforts to improve. During this pandemic, the home and staff have made great efforts to keep family informed and are going above and beyond to maintain contact with our loved ones.

I was happy with the care my Mum received at Eastwood House. The staff are very attentive, helpful and caring. I feel the treatment she received was as good as it could have been for someone with dementia.

My mum was a resident during 2019 until she passed away in November. She had been in 2 other care homes for respite and they were very unsatisfactory regarding cleanliness and provision of her care and needs. Mum was very pleased to find Eastwood Court care home to be very satisfactory in providing a high level of care, respect, dignity and cleanliness - also, there was not one member of staff who would pass her room without saying hello or passing a few minutes with her - a level of communication that was important to my mum. Nothing was ever too much bother for the staff. Whilst mum was mentally alert, she could be very demanding and difficult at times and yet staff continued to be cheerful and tend to her needs. Support was also on hand for my daughter and myself - and we were grateful for that on days when mum was being a bit difficult. I would highly recommend Eastwood Court care home. All the staff are fantastic and provide a great service and a high level of care.

My father is 84 years old and a type one diabetic and the paramedics were called three times as the staff did not act in a responsible manner with regards to Insulin. His nursing care was negligent and he was often left lying in bed even though he is mobile.

His water in the room was never replenished.

My wife suffers from dementia and has been in Eastwood Court for over five years. Apart from two changes of Manager; which is unsettling, I have a good level of confidence in the care home. I have a good rapport with carers and management staff. My wife is well looked after. Her needs are extensive but the carers perform their duties well. She requires a pureed diet and I am unable to comment on the standard of food provided as a result. Also, the assessment of activities does not apply to my wife as she is unable to participate

I visited 3 other homes before deciding n this one for my wife who has dementia. This one was the only one to show me around and take the time to talk to me about it. I was shown everything and nothing was held back.

My wife has now been in for 6 months and I know she has been treated well and with consideration. The staff are good and they go on training courses to update their skills. The atmosphere in the home is always pleasant and I am happy that my wife is in it.

My mother has been a resident for several years. Sadly, she now has dementia and very limited recognition of who people are or of her own circumstances.

Throughout her stay at the home she has been well cared for and she is normally very content.

Overall the home is very friendly and staff are welcoming. The carers take the time to ensure residents are happy, enjoying themselves and managing to do what they can for themselves. Sometimes main meal choices can be a bit disappointing which is the only negative, otherwise 1st class.
