As a family, we have been very happy with the care and support of our wee mum. The staff are extremely caring and helpful, and also are very supportive of family members during difficult times.

Overall Experience

I feel my mother is treated well by the staff and there is always activities going on daily. The staff are always in sight and helpful when asked questions or for support. I feel reassured after each visit which is at least three times a week that my mother is properly cared for. My mother is settled in and appears happy and that's all that I hope for her.

Overall Experience
Eastwood Court Care Home provides a friendly family atmosphere into which my husband was welcomed nearly a year ago.
When necessary he has been given prompt medical provision and enjoys excellent care from staff who are always looking to make his quality of life as good as it can be.

The building is somewhat dated but this is more than compensated for in the high standards and efficiency of this well-managed establishment.

Debbie MartinJob Title:Care Home Manager

We offer an excellent standard of care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, this is delivered by a highly trained professional team in a comfortable environment

Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the fullest. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.

Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares nutritious meals each day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for and we also have snack boxes available 24/7.

Residents have the freedom to choose what to do and when. There is plenty going and our activities coordinators put together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, arts and crafts, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about. We also have regular themed events and tasting days which are our resident’s choice.

The home has an open door policy and I am happy to show you around and also to discuss any aspects of care. I will also be able to provide you with the home’s brochure. Please feel free to contact the home by telephone or email to make an appointment.
