All staff are totally dedicated to the care of residents. Our family feels confident that our mother is in the best place. We are kept up to date with all updates regarding our mother's health and wellbeing.

We are totally satisfied with the care she receives.

Senior carer and carers all very helpful. Relate well with my mother and personal care is good. Rooms are well kept and ensuite facilities good.
Mum's room is one of the smallest available and in need of decoration but clean and well located on 1st floor and convenient for both lounge and family room. This is fine as her mobility is poor (can walk with the assistance of carers).

Also needs some assistance with eating/drinking to ensure dietary requirements are met. Mum's anxiety is much reduced and this is down to personal care and being treated with dignity which is very much appreciated.

I have limited experience visiting once every 3 or 4 weeks. Staff have been friendly and helpful. I appreciate the cafe as a more relaxed environment for our visit.

Since my mother entered this care home last year, we have been delighted with the standard of service provided. The staff, without exception, have done their utmost to make her feel comfortable and at home. They have been very helpful and caring and I am very satisfied that my mother is well cared for and happy here.

Mum was transferred from another care home and is now a relatively new resident. She is receiving an excellent level of care. She is settling in fine. I noticed the upbeat atmosphere immediately.

Very professional, caring, friendly, welcoming and attentive to mum's needs. This care home was recommended by a social worker who sent me a link to my email address. After reading the link and information given all views were excellent. Living conditions for mum are great. Very happy.

Would highly recommend Oakview Manor and all its staff and management.

I have no hesitation in recommending Oakview Manor Care Home. Every aspect of it I find to be excellent - management, staff, cleanliness, facilities, 'move around' space, meals, quality of care - are all of a very high standard.

I have some experience of care homes in that both my mother and my mother-in-law were each in care for 7 years. In addition, as a church visitor, I have visited many care homes, so I do have yardsticks to measure by and Oakview Manor surpasses anything I have seen before. It is, without a doubt, the best I have ever seen.

My mother has been here for a number of years and standards have fluctuated over that time but at the moment they are overall good. The care staff are very good, caring and helpful. The main times when problems arise are when holidays or sick leave are covered by agencies but this doesn't happen too often. Overall, my family are happy with the care my mum receives at Oakview Manor Care Home.

Overall Experience

All staff very friendly and helpful both prior to mum being admitted and after. Full explanations of policies and methods were given. In 4 short weeks, there has been a significant change with mum's level of engagement with others. Her interaction with staff and residents has a positive impact on her and on her quality of life. There are no adverse comments to be made! Location, service and standards are better than were hoped for.

I would like to thank management and staff at Oakview Manor for the devoted attention given to mum whilst in your care.

She enjoyed her stay once settled in and we enjoyed visiting, the coffee shop was a great addition to the facilities whilst visiting, as it created a nice atmosphere for us all.

Mum has just had her review meeting and become a permanent resident at Oakview Manor as the care home can meet all of Mum's needs. The Management and staff treat Mum with respect, patience and dignity. Family members are warmly welcomed when visiting and feel involved in decisions relating to Mum's care. All members of staff are very approachable and we have seen a marked improvement in Mum's health. Thank you, Oakview for making this stressful time that bit easier. We know that Mum is going to be well looked after.
