Over all time Campsie View Care Home has 77 reviews.
The home made extra provisions to accommodate them as a couple for as long as possible.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all excellent throughout the final year of their lives.
When my father-in-law's dementia increased, they moved him downstairs and provided him with the extra care he needed.
When it came to end-of-life, the staff were superb especially with my father-in-law's decline which was slower and needed extra attention.
They could not have managed their final months better.
Thankyou very much for taking the time to write such a lovely review, it is much appreciated and I shall pass on your positive feedback to the team
Both my parents were in Campsie View Care Home and I cannot express enough how kind & caring everyone was with them (both passed recently). The level of care went beyond what you would hope for to something akin to a close family. I am so happy my parents ended up here, as they were so well taken care of. I can't thank the staff enough for what they did for my Mum & Dad.
Thankyou very much for your lovely feedback, it was pleasure to care and support for your parents and they are missed, as are you and family.
All of the staff are incredible and I feel so lucky that my Father is in such good hands. They also took amazing care of my Mother until she passed a few weeks ago. I'm very grateful to everyone there.
Thank you very much for you lovely feedback I will ensure it is passed on to our team.
Well run and organised care home, staff always available. Staff seem happy, which is always good to see. Recently been refurbished and increased communication via newsletters, menus and events. Gardens well maintained and decorated at Christmas etc.
Thankyou very much for your positive feedback, I will ensure this is passed on to the staff team, its much appreciated
My.husband has only been here nearly six weeks, and I have been so pleased at how welcome everyone is made to feel.
As a family this experience has been new to us, but I can honestly say everyone we have dealt with has been so helpful to us.
I visited on Tuesday when the singers were there, and it was lovely to see everybody singing along (me included).
Thankyou very much for your feedback, we are pleased to hear you have felt so welcomed and it is a pleasure to have your husband here with us.
Laundry frequently slow to be returned. One resident ran out of underwear as a result of this and more had to be purchased urgently.
Food does not always suit tastes and plainer options would be helpful
The dining room can be very loud at mealtimes, and this can be distressing for some residents if others are unwell or struggling to eat at mealtimes.
Would be helpful to have more encouragement for some residents to get involved in activities or to be offered the opportunity to get outside on a regular basis.
The floors and skirting boards in bedrooms are sometimes dusty with crumbs and dirt on floor.
Recent issue with depositing of funds into a residents account and she ran out of cash for several days.
Staff are wonderful. Friendly, polite and accommodating
Thankyou for your review, The Home manager is more than happy to meet up with yourself to discuss all of your concerns to assist with resolving them. All feedback is welcomed and beneficial as we continuously thrive to improve our home and the care and support of residents. The phone issues were...
I've never had any issues with the carehome and the staff, they've always been very helpful and friendly since my mum was admitted there, if there's any issues with my mum, then the staff will call me, no matter how small the situation is
Thankyou very much for your positive feedback, we really appreciate it.
My Dad is still a resident. He's been so well looked after. The home care very good at keeping in touch with regular updates on him as he's been poorly recently. I feel very supported by them and nothing is ever too much trouble.
Thankyou very much for your positive feedback it was a pleasure to care and support your parents and I will ensure your feedback is passed on to the staff team.
My Nana recently moved into Campsie View Care Home, and the team made the transition incredibly smooth. All the little extras they've provided have really made a big difference to her settling in - and our whole family has noticed during our visits over the past few days. We're so grateful for the care and kindness she's been shown.
Thankyou very much for your lovely review of our home, I will ensure your positive feedback will be passed on to the team.
We could not speak highly enough of the team in the Bruce Unit. My mother in law was in there for nine and a half months and was at all times treated with respect, kindness and consummate professionalism.
The staff were all friendly and personable. They work very hard to keep the residents engaged and stimulated, while respecting the wishes of those who prefer a little privacy. The meals are very good, with frequent snacks and drinks in between.
The room she had was a good size, with an adjustable bed. She had her own bathroom and the shower was close by. She was assisted in having these on a regular basis
My mother in law passed away at the weekend, but my wife and I are very grateful for everything they did for her. She was constantly monitored and her passing came with great dignity.
Thank you, to everyone at the home. Very highly recommended to anyone seeking a place for an elderly relative
Thankyou very much for such a positive review, I shall pass your review on to the team. It was a pleasure to support your Mum and Mum-in-law and she will be missed.
Mum's birthday today. Staff had mum up, beautifully dressed, hair done, ready to enjoy her visitors. At least 5 different staff members popped into the family room to wish mum happy birthday with lovely personal interactions with mum. Mum was previously in another care home for 2 1/2 years and she has been here for 6 months. We are delighted with the car she receives from each & every staff member.
Thank you so much for taking the the time to review our service. I will share your kind words with the team.
Just wanted to write a few words on how much I appreciate all the team working at Campsie View Care Home who treat my Dad with dignity and compassion. They are like family members in my Dad's mind and I believe this is due, in part, to how well he is treated. The team listen to any concerns I may have and work with me to ensure the best care for my Dad.
Thank you for your kind words, the team continue to work hard to deliver person centred care for our residents.
Everyone is kind and helpful.
I have been a resident in the above premises and have found the staff are excellent as are upper management. I have been treated with dignity and my needs have been met with a smile.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Campsie View care home. It is always lovely to hear first hand, what a great job our team are doing and that they are demonstrating our values.
My gran has settled in wonderfully and I can't thank the staff enough for making her feel so welcome. Always a homely atmosphere with plenty choice of activity and lots to choose from. Our family can settle knowing our gran is safe and cared for.
My dad has been a resident since December 2023. The care home is managed by an approachable, strong management team who hold regular relative meetings or are regularly seen around the care home. My dad settled in well thanks to all the hardworking staff. They are very hands on, up beat and engaging with the residents. They were the extra mile to ensure my dad has an excellent birthday. The home has a strong team of care assistants, nursing and activity team. It is freshly decorated and welcoming. I would recommend Campsie View Care Home. In 2023 I arranged a visit to the home, the process was seamless and friendly.
I am very happy here and the staff are very caring and helpful, this is my forever home now.
Staff always make sure I get to see her.
Staff make me smile when I feel down.
The staff are very nice.
Rooms are nice.
The food is tasty.
Nice rooms.
Lovely food.
