The manager and his deputy impress me by their professionalism. When I phone to ask about my cousin or to speak to him my call is dealt with rapidly and efficiently. My cousin is pleased with his diet and with those who care for him.

The staff are what makes Campsie View what it is. My cousin was, until recently, a resident in the Bruce unit and the staff were so attentive to her needs. The place has also had a refurb recently and that makes such a difference, it looks great, fresh and clean.
Given the challenging times, they are
having to deal with at the moment, they are doing a great job, with the focus being on the needs of the resident.

Quietly located away from busy main roads, local shopping and amenities. Always clean and tidy and I can't be more positive about the staff who are all wonderful and really enjoy working there. Staff are very caring, informative, helpful and friendly, from cleaning staff to care staff and management.
Nice atmosphere for residents and visitors.

The family were so worried about covid-19 but we are so impressed with the way you shut down immediately to protect the residents. Also under lockdown, they have been so kind to share photos on their page for my dad to see and today we had a video call with the family so Dad could see us. Go well beyond
their call of duty. Management should praise the carers and nurses as well as laundry, cleaners, office and activity staff. The cooks and kitchen staff should also be praised for their hard work. Well done guys.

It's very difficult trying to pick a care home for a loved one when that time comes. I had visited a few homes and did a lot of research prior to choosing Campsie View for my father. From my first visit, I just had that good gut feeling.
My father is far from the easiest to deal with, but the staff
take it in their stride. They are respectful, caring, attentive and very proactive. They always keep me up to date with anything regarding my father's care and never make me feel that I am troubling them when I call.
They all work incredibly hard, from the domestic and catering staff to the care and nursing staff, friendly admin, approachable management and the ever-enthusiastic entertainment staff.
I always noticed a great sense of camaraderie amongst them when I'm there. In these extremely hard times with Covid-19 so much a threat, the staff are going above and beyond to keep spirits high and make life as normal as possible for residents. I am so grateful to them.

Phoned the care home and spoke to a carer for an update on my mother-in-law due to the whole coronavirus. She was very upbeat and pleasant. This is someone who at this moment in time must be seriously under pressure but taking things in her stride. Thank you.

I help with a small group of residents with dementia every 4 weeks. The group is well organised by the staff. The residents always seem to benefit from the songs, poems and extra displays I and my other volunteer do. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

I like the staff and the cleanliness of the place. The home has made great improvements since my husband came in. Meals are good and there is plenty of choice for the residents. The staff are attentive and the male staff give my husband lots of banter throughout the day which he greatly appreciates.

It's been hard having to let go of caring for someone on a daily basis, our family know it is in the best interest of my mum's health and well being.. being in Campsie View has given our mum a better lease of life. She has succumbed to the dreaded sentence of dementia. The staff are all wonderful with
the residents and give fantastic care to all. Mum loves being in this new environment as she has people around her 24/7 and she always has someone to talk to or just hang around with.... would recommend the care home to anyone.

I was welcomed as was my husband on our first arrival in February 2017. My husband settled well and has remained contented. He calls the staff "his girls and boys". I have never witnessed any staff raise their voice or handle residents with anything but careful handling and verbal support.
I appreciate
the challenges that the staff face and respect them for the care of my husband.

Have had a very positive and caring attitude towards any member of the unit my father in law is in. He himself can be aggressive towards staff, but find staff have a great rapport with him and can turn my father in law from nasty to mild in a matter of minutes. It's great to see him when he is in a
great place chatting to the staff. Meals - he has good and bad times but is now putting weight on so he is in a good place, and staff are finding him in a responsible way. I have great faith in all the staff his room is kept well and he looks great.

I am very happy with the care that my Mum has at Campsie View, she is well looked after on all levels and we as a family do not have to worry about her. Dementia is hard enough to deal with for everyone concerned and to find a safe and caring place for your loved one makes all the difference. Very happy.

Home very good. My wife is well looked after 24/7. The staff are all friendly and very caring. Very happy with the level of care given to her and would certainly recommend this care home to anyone. I can sleep comfortably at night knowing she is well looked after and safe.

Dementia in itself is not a nice and dignified way to end one's life and watching my mother in law succumb to it has been a long and hard journey. Since coming into Campsie View I have watched how my wife and father in law have relaxed and come to ease with the level of care and support she receives
here.


I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for the management and staff here as they go about their daily task and would not hesitate to recommend Campsie View to anyone wishing to place a loved one here.

My mother has been looked after in a very caring way in all of the two years she has been resident in Campsie View Care Home. The family cannot fault the care home in any way. It is unfortunate that mum had a bad fall during the night when she injured the back of her head.
We are well aware it was
no fault of the care home that this occurred. She was found promptly and all the possible steps were taken to get her medical attention as soon as possible. She was admitted to hospital but sadly died two weeks later due to other health complications. Given that our contact with the care home will now cease, I was keen to register at this point my complete satisfaction with the care provided.

In my mum's recent illness the night staff of the care home showed first class care and thoughtfulness on dealing with mum and keeping me informed every step of the way resulting in her being admitted to hospital. Their quick assessment meant she got the medical care she needed.

The staff are great here they do the utmost to make me happy. We go out lots we go shopping, for lunch, dinner we go to shows we have dates booked to go to the kings for musicals which I love. We go on day trips on the mini bus to Ayr Largs etc. I get takeaways every week the staff go and collect for
me.

I love living at Campsie View all the staff are so kind to me they are my best friends, I go shopping for clothes all the time and out for meals, I get to order take away food when I want it and I even have sky television in my room, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else the staff are my family. I feel
safe here and it's like a hotel I feel like I am on holiday every day

I stay at Campsie View and love it it's not a care home it's my home where I have my friends. I go out every week to my club I went to before coming in and had a birthday here with all my friends and family.

Before taking a career path in the care sector, Nicola worked for the NHS for 15 years in the acute sector, involving all accident and emergency, cardiology and other outpatient needs.
