My husband suffered a stroke in April 2016 and after a short stay in another nursing home, he was admitted to Crossgates Nursing Home. During his time there his general health has improved greatly and every effort has been made to improve his mobility. He is very well cared for physically and socially including a good entertainment programme including two visits home for special occasions. I am sure his health will continue to improve due to the excellent care and attention he receives.
Dad has been in Crossgates for over two years now and the carers, nurses, etc. deal with Dad's needs very well. On the whole, he is happy but sometimes can be challenging as it’s vascular dementia. When he is like that the carers do cope amazingly well. Just listening to the repetitive chats is...
They do an excellent job with very challenging people and it is of great comfort to us that Dad is in such good hands .
