My Stepfather has been in Cairnie Lodge for over a year. He tells us all the time that it's like a five-star hotel. He has settled in very well and we are more than happy with his care. Always informed of any incidents. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

On the whole, the home has been good for my dad's well-being. He is 96 and suffers from dementia however there is a lack of communication between staff. My dad fell last Friday night and I was notified, however, on Saturday, when visiting, none of the staff I spoke to knew he had fallen the evening
before. I also think the staff need more training in dealing with someone with a catheter and the importance in details as to where the tub is placed when pressing etc. More times than enough he is sitting on it.

When visiting we are always warmly welcomed by staff. As we live some distance away, the home is exceptionally good at keeping us informed of any problems and I know that I can contact them at any time. This is so important to us. The staff do an outstanding job under very trying conditions.

My Mother has been in Cairnie Lodge since January. This was an extremely difficult time for all the family but the care and attention given to Mum by all the staff has made it so much easier. The situation we now find ourselves in with the current lockdown has been challenging to say the least. The
whole staff at Cairnie Lodge have bent over backwards to make it be as good as it can be. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
