Overall Experience

My late uncle and his extended family found Balmoral View Care Centre a warm, welcoming, professional place to live. The nursing staff were efficient in their approach to nursing and caring. My uncle called them his second family. The housekeeper and the auxiliary staff were always on hand when you needed them. Nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend Balmoral view with no hesitation.

Great food, everyone makes you welcome.

Can't say anything bad about it.

I find the nursing home very caring, also very attentive to the residents and a very good atmosphere for relatives visiting the family.

I find the staff at all levels to be professional, caring, considerate and kind. They take obvious pride in doing a good job, they are clearly patient - centred in their approach to their work and their happiness derives from making the patients happy. They care about the patients and their families. This creates a positive atmosphere and facilitates easy communication.

Overall Experience

I have spent 2 plus weeks in this home after a bad accident which left me incapacitated with a broken arm and fractured shoulder. I found the care and carers exceptional. Very caring and dedicated staff. The care and help I have received here from the staff accompanied me to the fracture clinic and have generally been helping and supporting me. I feel my recovery would not have been as good as it is so far.

Overall Experience

My father has been in Manor Lodge Care Home for nearly two years now, he came from another care home which was owned by a different company. Since moving to Manor Lodge my family and I can see a big change in him for the better he is a lot happier and content and this has a lot to do with the fantastic staff and the care they provide.

If you are in the position like we were two years ago thinking of a care home for a loved one I would highly recommend a visit to Manor Lodge Care Home.

Overall Experience

There is never enough female staff to take ladies to the toilet or commode. Everyone is entitled to their dignity, the staff do their best, patients sit in a boring dull room in front of the television all day long. The only good service is on the EMI floor, it is bright and cheerful, it is about time there was something done downstairs.
