My mum had special needs because of her dementia, but also additionally issues that meant Mum was confined to bed for the past four or so months. The staff at Somerton cater to her needs and have been nothing but professional in the way they have cared for mum, reacted to issues (including COVID) and
in the manner in which they engage with the family. We are hopeful that Mum will be up and about able to engage with other residents, in a matter of weeks. We know that Mum will benefit from such interactions immensely.

He seems very content, and well looked after. He is helped with his appearance, and staff are helpful and attentive. He especially enjoys the activities, and we are delighted that he is joining in and seems to be content and occupied. He likes the food, and his room is comfortable.

All staff are very professional and frienly. Nothing is too much trouble. Dad has 'flourished' since coming to live at Somerton. Have to mention also the staff managed exceedingly well during the covid pandemic, no cases at the home - all down to their professionalism, care and compassion. Much appreciated,

Was very worried about my mum going into care but this home has been so good. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and caring. I am very happy with the standard of care at Somerton. Can see all her fears and distress have gone.

I have had a very positive experience with this care home. The staff have been amazing, very helpful, caring and informative, and they have treated my father with dignity, care and compassion. I do not have anything negative to say and would recommend.

We have been so thankful for how my dad has been cared for since coming to Somerton in Sept 2019. He is happy here and has been so well cared for, he has gained weight which was a real concern for us. All of the staff are so pleasant and helpful.

My father was very well cared for by the team. They are friendly and attentive both to my father but also to my mother and all the family.
The home has daily activities and is maintained to a high standard. The team provided support to all of us during a very difficult time for the family when my

My father receives very good care at Somerton. He appears content and is well fed and looked after. There has been a big change with the appointment of a new activities coordinator. Much more engaging and participate with residents. I am pleased with the commitment and professionalism of all staff but
there does appear to be a point in the day where they appear more stretched, specifically at night when residents are getting supper and going to bed.

Somerton takes very good care of my grandmother. It gives me great peace of mind to know that she is cared for, kept warm, clean and well fed.
They also put on a range of activities to keep them stimulated and entertained. High levels of care and a real interest in their resident's welfare.

The staff are talkative and attentive whenever dealing with my mother. They deal with any problems or issues as soon as possible. They keep us up to date on any ongoing health issues that my mother has or any suspected new ones.

At all times staff and management have kept me fully informed of my mother's general health and progress. On visiting, she has been clean and shows a tidy appearance, all of which is indicative of a high/constant level of care and support. Staff show a dignified approach to all in their care.
