Beechvale Nursing Home

I contacted Beechvale regarding respite care for my father following an illness and time spent in hospital. The manager responded quickly to the request and within a day my Dad was able to go to Beechvale. He received excellent care, with very friendly and competent staff. The food and care he received was excellent and the nursing staff were able to advise on his medication and ensure he was medically and physically fit to go home.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Beechvale Nursing Home, in fact, I already have done!

The care and attention which has been given to my father has been exceptional.

The Christmas activities were terrific and kept my father amused and involved.

I would highly recommend Beechvale Nursing Home. My husband has been there for just over 2 years now and is still happy with the care he is getting. He has dementia and at times, can be difficult, but the nurses are very patient and understanding with him which means a lot. Food is home cooked and of a high standard. The manager is very approachable and if there are any problems she gets it sorted out quickly.

Beechvale is an excellent nursing home offering a warm loving atmosphere. All staff deliver good care with continuing high standards in all areas. My mum is treated with dignity, respect and compassion and her wishes are fully respected. As a daily visitor, I can see that everyone is well cared for.

We are so delighted with the fabulous staff in Beechvale who have welcomed her from the start. Due to our family circumstances, we are extremely delighted that our mother is now in a safe environment and is happy and would not hesitate in recommending this care home.

My mother-in-law has been a resident in Beechvale since February 2013. During that time the care has been excellent, even during the difficult time when, under new management, there was an extensive building programme undertaken.

The property is now modern and bright and recent staffing problems have obviously been resolved, resulting in a good atmosphere. The girl in charge of activities is extremely caring and excellent.

My mother spent six years in Beechvale, she was always very well looked after, very clean and despite being bedbound for several years she never had any pressure sores. The staff are all very caring and friendly, there is a very good atmosphere in the home. There is a wide range of activities suitable for the range of abilities.

I am very pleased with the treatment and care my mum is experiencing. She has said to me that it is her home now and is very content and happy in her care and how the staff are so kind and friendly. It is a great relief to me that she is cared for and made comfortable. This building and surroundings inside and out create a great ambience to make it feel so homely. Great food and menu to cater for all moods. I would highly recommend Beechvale Nursing Home to anyone looking for great care for their loved ones.

My mum was a resident at Beechvale Nursing Home since September 2016 until her demise in March 2017. We as a family only wish we had found the home earlier for mum. We were so fortunate to have her cared for in the last months of her life by all the staff at Beechvale Nursing Home. It is a beautiful building and the gardens are lovely but what really sets Beechvale apart is the management and staff. All the staff which includes the nurses who truly cared for mum and kept you updated at all times. The carers who mum loved and treated her with such dignity and respect. Always a kind word. The kitchen staff for wonderful food, the laundry staff for excellent care of clothing and the cleaning staff - spotless. I highly recommend it.

From the moment I walked into Beechvale Nursing Home home to view the home for my aunt I was really impressed with the decor, cleanliness and warm feel in the home. The owners and staff are so friendly, hardworking and most importantly caring and look after my aunt (who has dementia and is now unable to walk) with the attention to detail and support she deserves. I never thought my aunt who is so used to living on her own would ever settle in a home but she loves the home cooking, fun and friendships she has made at Beechvale Nursing Home. Thank you for the comfort of knowing my aunt is happy and so well cared for.

My mother has been a resident of Beechvale Nursing Home for over 5 years and has always been treated with care. I have always found the staff friendly and approachable and nothing is ever a problem for them. The staff work hard and treat everyone with patience and care and are to be commended for their hard work. The home has recently been extended and existing rooms and facilities are refurbished to a high standard.

Beechvale is a friendly welcoming place. My father is well looked after and the staff are friendly and patient with him. The staff are always busy but if my father needs something they attend to him quickly. There is loads of entertainment from sing songs to young people coming into entertaining them by dancing or singing. I enjoy the carol service each year which is a great chance for residents, families and staff to all get-together. I am content to know my father is in good hands.

Since going to Beechvale my mother has experienced great care and support from all staff. Although my mother is 101 years old, she still gets treated with respect and kindness.

I cannot praise highly enough the staff and management. My mother was treated with the utmost respect and kindness as we were her family. I would not hesitate to recommend this fantastic facility - Brilliant.

Working under extreme circumstances the staff in this home are very good. Food is good and well served. I could recommend it to anyone who needs care.

This is a wonderful home. Staff are so willing, helpful and are dedicated and caring for each residents needs and well-being. Nothing is a trouble to them. The food is excellent and the atmosphere just lifts your spirits.

I have been visiting my friend since she became a resident in Beechvale Nursing Home in 2013 and I can truthfully say I never had one occasion when I could have made a complaint, rather nothing but praise for the care given and I visited the home every week in fact, my judgement goes back very many years as several of my relations were residents over the years. All residents are gently encouraged by the person who is responsible for all the activities as she is so pleasant and understanding with everyone. All staff have to be praised for their patience, also the great care which they give at all times with dignity. The chef too and his staff are most careful to see that they, each one, has suitable meals. Beechvale is a very clean and comfortable home and I would recommend to anyone. Beechvale is extending, this provide more accommodation in early 2016. The area the home is in should make it a much sought after home as well as the great care it offers by staff, management and owners.

Beechvale nursing home could not be more welcoming and full of care for my brother. The staff are extremely kind and cheerful. He loves the food which is simple and what he wants. They are extremely flexible and treat everyone as a individual.

Mum has been at Beechvale since November 2015. I have noticed how settled and happy she is. The staff are extremely attentive and professional. The intimate setting and bright room is ideal for my mothers needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending Beechvale as an ideal nursing establishment.
