Culmore Manor Reviews (40)

I am so delighted with all the excellent care and compassion all the staff have shown towards my mother. Culmore Manor is an excellent nursing home in every way. My mother's needs have been met in the best way e.g. nursing needs, hygiene and food and the communication of the staff towards me and my mother is the best we as a family have experienced. Very Happy.
My mother has been treated with the utmost care and respect at Culmore Manor. We are overwhelmed a how she has been treated. The home is beautiful and clean and very professional staff at all times to assist her with every need. We also have an uncle that is residing there and we couldn't be happier. The food is excellent and the activities are excellent. We are always greeted with a smile by the staff. The nursing care here is excellent.
Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate the kind words and look forward to the time ahead with your mum at Culmore Manor.
Kind regards.
I think the team are excellent and so well prepared for Mum's arrival. The care and efficiency shown are beyond reproach. The home is so well managed and the coordination of the team in caring for Mum is unbelievable. The cleanliness, security and care are wonderful. I've seen changes in Mum since she has come here, in her eating and how well and comfortable she is in this nursing home.
There have been times that I have felt that senior staff upon request have not acted upon my care ie male carers to shower me (as I am a young man in a mainly female environment).
Kind regards.
I am 46 years old, the youngest in my care home. I live in Culmore Manor Nursing Home and I really must say it is the most homely nursing. The staff and the management is absolutely amazing, no matter how busy they are they all still really go out of their way and beyond to make sure that you are okay, you have everything you need, and they still take time out to go and get whatever you need from the shops, if you have anything worrying you at all they come and chat to you about whatever it is that you're worried about and then when you have a chat with them you absolutely feel great afterwards. The staff make you feel so much at home. And that is what I call Culmore Manor - my home. It's just like stepping into your own home.
Kind regards.
My mother has been a resident of Culmore Manor for the last nine weeks. I was so worried about this transition, but from the first day, I was overwhelmed by the outstanding and amazing care afforded to her, and this continues on a daily basis without fail. The compassion, patience, understanding and affection provided by all staff provide our family with such contentment. The facilities are unbelievable and cater for all. Most of all, my mother is so well looked after, and we could not ask for more.
Dear Denise, thank you for your kind review and words. The feedback is greatly appreciated by myself and the team.
My mother has been in Culmore Manor Care Home for many years and continues to receive wonderful care and attention. She is now ninety-four years old and is off her feet. That challenge and many others are met every day by the staff here. During the pandemic, I was so fortunate to know my mother was being cared for by outstanding people, who have become family.
Dear Sara, thank you very much for the kind words and review these are much appreciated by myself and the rest of the staff group.
Good care home striving to improve in all areas. Implementing measures to ensure the safety and comfort of residents in a post-pandemic world. Staff are, on the whole, pleasant and caring and really stepped up during the pandemic.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a lovely review of our home.
Many thanks,
Ryan.
This is plain to see, right from the start, and on every subsequent visit we make to him!
His room is always clean, the food is excellent quality and his care and daily needs are very well met, nothing is too much trouble. This is really appreciated.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Culmore Manor to anyone looking for a great nursing home to place their loved ones.
Dear David, thank you very much for the kind words in your review. We are delighted to hear such positive feedback.
The home is kept very clean and warm and the food is good.
My father's care needs are all extremely well met, his medication is always given on time. When he was unwell recently, it was noticed straight away and an ambulance was called immediately.
He is always showered and shaved and his clothes are always clean.
All the staff are very polite and friendly and enjoy a bit of banter, nothing seems like too much trouble for them. We, as a family are made to feel welcome at any time.
I can relax in the knowledge that my father is being so well looked after and I would without a doubt recommend Culmore Manor to anyone.
Thank you very much for the kind words and lovely review of the care that your father receives.
My uncle moved to Culmore Manor after a heart attack twelve months ago. His health was very poor and I was very concerned about his physical and mental health. The early days were difficult for him, not only because he was so ill, but also because he has learning disabilities and finds change challenging. I am grateful for the support received from the entire staff, thank you to the cleaners, caterers and care assistants who have been very important in the settling-in process. They are friendly and professional and their excellent care has helped ease him into his new home. Now, a year later, I can hardly believe how positive this move has been for him. The nursing staff have turned his health around completely, I am delighted to say that he continues to improve, and his recovery has been remarkable. He enjoys his new home and care which includes many excellent activities and religious support, which is so essential for my uncle's well-being. I can't recommend Culmore Manor enough. Thank you.
Thank you very much for the kind words and support.
Culmore Manor, I would recommend to anyone who needs care, love and help for their loved ones. The staff are wonderful, caring, supportive, fun and make this home a happy place. These past two years have been hard for everyone and at times challenging with covid, but we have come this far and looking forward to better days ahead. The staff in Culmore Manor make us all feel welcome, it is a profession not for the faint-hearted. Teamwork and dedication looking after our loved ones. Truly blessed to have home from home, making new friends and helping us along difficult days. Thank you to each and every one of you. Happy Christmas and a healthy new year 2023.
Thank you very much for your kind words and positive views on the care and atmosphere within the home.
I am so glad my wife went to Culmore Manor, the staff are amazing it is such a stressful job. Looking after over fifty people who virtually all have problems takes some doing and they do it with a smile, I would not be smiling even after a few hours, I appreciate them all.
Thank you very much for your kind words, Ronald. They are most appreciated.
My experience with this care home is excellent, I find the home is very caring and supportive of the resident's needs. We are always made to feel very welcome when we come to visit. We can approach staff and management when we have a problem.
Kind regards,
Ryan.
My husband has been afforded all the care, protection and patience he needs. Very much treated as an individual with his unique personality.
We appreciate the kind words and review that you have given of the staff and facilities in Culmore Manor. Many thanks.
Brilliant home. With friendly and hardworking staff. Both my dad and my gran are residents and they get looked after amazingly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, friendly home for their relatives.
Mum went into this home on 17/02/2021, was a bit hard on both of us but the staff and the management help us both a lot. I could call anytime, day or night and I knew they were there to help with anything that my mum needed. Staff are always there to help, very friendly and professional. Any paperwork that needed sorting management were there to help. Would have no problem in recommending this care home.
Staff are immensely supportive and kind. Dad is well looked after and content. There is a proactive attitude to all aspects of residents care. We are grateful and thankful for the care our father receives here.
From the first point of contact, I felt very content and at ease, the manager and the staff members are very welcoming and under current circumstances, they reassured us they would take great care of Daddy. Very happy with the choice of care home.
The manager of Culmore Manor performed my covid test so I could visit my step-mum as a care partner. I was met with kindness and put at ease as I was very nervous having this done. My step-mum looked very well cared for and the care staff were wonderful to me. Overall I was very pleased with my visit knowing my step-mum is very well cared for.
