Myself, my brothers and sisters, our children and grandchildren, would like to thank the management and staff of Oakleaves Care Centre for the care given to our beautiful wee mother during the final months of her life. Their dedication is exceptional. Over the course of our mother’s stay, we were updated on her health on a regular basis. We all agree that we have found new friends for life in Oakleaves, in particular, the manager and another member of staff. Whilst being hesitant to single any of the staff out for mention, we witnessed something very special during the final weekend of our mother’s long life. Having received a phone call to tell us our mother’s dementia had taken a turn for the worse, my wife and I arrived at her room. We saw a member of staff kneeling by her bedside, playing mum’s music box and singing into her ear. We will always treasure this memory. “To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honours.”

He has a special diet which is catered for, and the food quality is excellent. The cleaning and laundry services are great. Oakleaves have been an excellent place for my mother-in-law/grandmother. She has been/is happy and well cared for. The staff are approachable and friendly. The management is easy to work with. The event manager is excellent. The carers and all the other staff are lovely. Thank you to all involved.
