After 16 weeks in the hospital, my brother was transferred to Oakleaves Care Centre. From the moment he arrived there, the care he has received has been exceptional. The staff are so helpful, always smiling and each and everyone shows great kindness to the residents. My brother and myself are very pleased our brother was placed here, and we know he is in a very safe environment and all his needs are provided for. This is an excellent home.

It was extremely difficult for us as a family when Mum took dementia, and we cared for her for four years at home until we could no longer do so. It was a great comfort to us that Mum came to Oakleaves, close to where we all live and with easy access to visit her. They care for her and ensure we are informed of any changes in her health. They have a pet name for Mum and are very fond of Mum. The staff know all of us by name, and we are very pleased with the care and respect they give Mum. I would recommend Oakleaves to anyone who needs to use it.

I was worried that the home may not want him to stay, but the staff were great in dealing with his condition. He is so well settled now that I actually find it hard to get him out for a few hours as he feels safer in Oakleaves. The staff know him well now, and I know he is well looked after and safe.

I always take him out, and there are no problems with this, and when I take him back, I know that my daddy is happy - there are no signs from him otherwise. I am completely happy with his care at this time.

Find staff extremely helpful and considerate. Always attentive to residents' physical and emotional needs. Communication with family has been very good when discussing resident's needs or incidents which may occur, open and honest. Oakleaves is very clean and staff make it as homely as possible.
