As a resident in this care home for over a year now, and with the present coronavirus, I have been exceptionally impressed as all the residents are by the staff placed in this home. All regulations that are required have been exceptionally adhered to by all the carers, as well as the activities officer
employed.
As our weekly reliable hairdresser is disallowed into the home due to the present virus, the activities officer has carried out her understanding and professional nature, by washing and styling the incapable and older individuals hair. This has lifted many of their spirits.
All the staff continually wear their PPE equipment regularly, while they carry out all their duties and all residents that are in are kept 6ft apart at all times.
May I also point out, the activities officer employed in the home excels her continuing assistance to all the residents residing in the home at all times.
All the nursing home staff has effectually maintained the protection of the residents to keep them well at all times also.
The staff workforce makes sure that all residents are at mass mobilisation at all times. The temperatures are taken every day, and all residents hands are regularly washed with medicated wipes, (which are antibacterial). This certainly continues to erose any risk of being contaminated by the virus.
Visitors belonging to any families are not allowed to be admitted to the building at any time, though a lot of concerned families speak through and leave residents essentials at the door and give to the carers. All this is following the instructions of having a lockdown.
All of the residents are very impressed with all care given to them continually. The activities officer for the home keeps all residents occupied with many activities. Thank you, Willow Grove staff.

My mum was admitted to the residential section of Willow Grove initially for emergency respite and then she was made permanent. She has been a resident here for the past six months and she is now being transferred upstairs to the nursing section. During Mum's time in the residential section, she has
been cared for to a very high standard. The staff are very friendly, genuine and go out of their way to make the residents happy. The activities lady is excellent and provides a variety of different entertainment, stimulation and activities. I couldn't be happier with the way my mum has been looked after during her time here.

People put their confidence in all their amazing abilities and all of the clients singing together made many clients joyful. The activities officer in the nursing home is getting the majority of clients to exceptionally exist.
I reside in this professional home as I frequently have epileptic seizures
and living alone is not an alternative. The activities officer in the nursing home lets no occasions in the yearly calendar go unnoticed though there is a lot of work involved, accompanied with an outstanding personality. A very few of the residents refuse to recognise the talents and capabilities of the appointed activities officer. I personally do recognise made on every occasion. The qualified staff on duty also amalgamate with all clients with a great understanding and empathy, I feel it has to be recognised to all individuals who require such talents in life.

My Mum who suffers from mild dementia, stayed here for 2 weeks of respite, while I as her carer was on holiday. While the building is modern and purpose built, it's the staff that make the difference, and without exception (on settling my Mum in and on various family visits) the staff were kind, caring
and professional. Although my Mum struggles with any change to routine, everyone was sensitive and took time to speak to my Mum by name and engage her in conversation to help her settle during her stay. Caring for patients with dementia must be one of the most difficult jobs in the world and from the office staff up, everyone we came into contact with was friendly and patient no matter the behaviours they were dealing with.

My uncle was placed in this home as a temporary measure and is now a permanent resident. In his 4 months in the home it is very apparent how good the staff are to him and how well he is looked after. Every time I visit he is involved in various activities and is so well settled he thinks it's his own
home. The staff keep me very well informed if any issues that arise. Compared to another nursing home where my aunt resided for 3 years, Geanann is a gem.

Always friendly when I visit. Residents wellbeing always first and foremost. Staff very willing to discuss relatives care and help in any way towards the relatives care eg. dentist, hair, foot care. Always kept informed of anything that might concern me. Always well staffed. Relatives treated with care
and try to engage on a personal level where appropriate. Lots of engagement with music, films etc. Relatives needs are always put first.

I would like to take the time to let everyone know what an excellent care home this really is. My mother spent several weeks in this care home right up until her passing. All of the staff are truly dedicated to their profession. They always treated my mum as an individual and tended to all of her needs
with dignity and respect, nothing was ever too much trouble. The facilities are to a very high standard and the level of care is second to none. All of the staff were always well informed and communication with the family was excellent. I can honestly say I have no regrets placing Mum in Geannan Care Home, I am totally content in the knowledge that she received the best care possible. I have no hesitation in recommending Geannan Care Home.

My mum is a current resident. I can't say good enough things about the care she receives from the amazing staff. All residents are treated as individuals and with courtesy and respect. Mum loves it there and it really is her home now and not just an institution.
