From the first time we entered the building, we were treated warmingly by professional efficient staff. My mum has now been at Loxley Park for five weeks. During that time the care she has received has been outstanding. Everyone she has met has gone out of their way to help her settle in and feel at home. She often says "nothing is too much trouble for the staff" which is high praise indeed. We feel so fortunate to have found Loxley Park for my mum and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Thank you for taking the time to review Loxley Park Assisted Living in Sheffield. We are delighted to hear that your mum has settled into her new surroundings and to hear how happy you are with the care your mum has received from our dedicated staff team since being a part of our loving care community, giving you and your family peace of mind. Your feedback is invaluable to us. Best wishes.
My mother moved into Loxley Park only recently and she has settled in extremely well. Although she is still very independent the time was right to make the decision to move. My mother is enjoying the food in the beautiful restaurant and sharing a table with others. She also enjoys sitting in Reception having a coffee and watching the world go by. I feel she is safe and happy and I can relax having peace of mind. On another note, all the staff are so friendly and caring I also feel at home when I visit mum.

My mother moved into Loxley Park in February this year and from the very first contact with the home, the help and guidance have been first class. They made everything so easy which gave me peace of mind. My mother has settled in extremely well and she says the staff are all delightful and helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to visit Loxley Park before they make the move as I visited lots of homes prior to finding this one. Mum loves the activities and company too. She was lonely prior to moving to this home.

All staff, whether or not they are official carers, demonstrate care, support and assistance to the residents, encouraging their participation in the varied timetable of activities. Members of the activities team include the residents, but do not pressurise them into activities. The carers themselves show a high level of care and show real affection towards the residents. They are sensitive to any limitations and health difficulties of the individuals and maintain a good sense of humour.
Loxley Park itself is a lovely place, in a lovely setting, and residents are encouraged to use the beautiful gardens and the walks around Loxley Park.

The colleagues at Loxley Park are fantastic. They continue to support and look after Dad with anything that's needed. They are all so friendly and helped Dad settle into his new home. Dad is a new man since moving to Loxley Park and that's totally down to the colleagues there supporting him. Can't thank them enough.

My friend moved into Loxley Park in October 2018. From her initial visit when she came to look around to moving in she has been made to feel very welcome, Loxley Park is a lovely warm and friendly environment. The staff are always happy and smiling and very approachable but respectful. The food is of a very high quality with a good choice at all meal times served in a beautiful dining room by very helpful and courteous staff. In my experience of care available for the elderly over the last 10 years, Loxley Park is very unique - it is not at all like the care homes many of us know, or have heard about.

We (my sister and I ) are so glad that Dad came to live at Loxley. It always has a happy and well cared for feel, although, with the pandemic, we haven't been in the main building for a while. The staff are always caring and have smiles for everyone; they treat the residents with lots of respect and dignity and really seem genuine. During the last year, we are in their debt for keeping Dad safe and well. He is happy and that is, to us, very important. A huge thank you!

I came for respite care after a heart valve operation on November to a kind welcome, help with my case and lovely warm rooms. From then on it was all luxury and just what I needed. Delicious food bought to me by happy caring staff. My washing was taken and brought back ironed (what a treat!). Everything I could possibly want. I have already told many people how satisfied I was!

During my Dad's stay, it has been during Covid and lockdowns, so I haven't really had much chance to visit, however, we feel Dad is safe and well cared for during these hard times. The staff have helped us with little jobs for Dad if we have had to call for help.

Dad had a stay for 5 weeks respite; he's always greeted warmly, and the staff always make sure he's comfortable. Dad has memory problems, so we are never sure what he gets up to, but we know he has been well looked after in a safe and comfortable environment.
