My father moved to Loxley 2 months ago after a very difficult year. He was in an emotionally fragile state. I was impressed and relieved that the staff very quickly assessed the situation and his needs. He has been treated with kindness and understanding of high quality. I am sure he will be happy in
this environment and I will have peace of mind. Thanks to all.

My husband is 92 and not very mobile. I do have help caring for him but I needed a break. I had heard very good reports of Loxley Park and booked a week. We were both very pleased with the accommodation, the food, the facilities and we found all the staff very friendly and helpful. I would love to go
again but my husband needs more care.

I now can go away and relax knowing mum is safe, happy and well stimulated. If mum, who is close to 100 years old, was to have a mishap, I know that everything will be dealt with in a highly professional and sensitive way.

This was a respite stay for my Mom and it exceeded all my expectations. The beautiful surroundings and the friendliness and care and the staff was excellent.
The apartment was clean and well furnished. Mom did not settle initially and was getting upset. It must have been daunting, the first time away
from home on her own.
However, over the next few days, Mom settled and was more comfortable in the new environment.
Upon leaving, we could see the change in Mom and how content she had become. In fact, Mom wanted to stay a little longer.

All areas, both public and private, that I visited were immaculate, spotless and beautifully decorated. My mum hasn't eaten so well in ages. The food was beautiful, well presented and courteously served. All the staff were polite, caring and gave a really personal service. It was my mum's first visit
and everyone was so welcoming and got to know both my mum and myself very quickly. The entertainment and activities were also excellent and stimulating.

Our parents immediately felt welcomed into the warm and friendly environment. With staff available to meet and support their needs, they feel safe. The staff are cheerful, helpful, approachable and respectful, always having a friendly word to say and happy in their work at Loxley Park. Showing passion
for delivering a high-quality service and going the extra mile is a daily event.
Staff promote independence whilst maintaining dignity, giving residents a feeling of well being. Care services are tailored to individual needs, delivered in a flexible way with feedback from residents and relatives being actively invited. High-quality food is served in a bright, airy restaurant. Providing the ambience of a hotel with help and personal attention given by Loxley’s dedicated staff. Multiple activities and trips give residents plenty to do, encouraged by the staff.
With a shop and hairdressers, as well as beautiful grounds to walk in, it’s no wonder the residents are so happy.

My mum is well cared for and treated with respect. As her daughter, the staff could not be more supportive, considerate and helpful. The atmosphere at Loxley Park is welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I am delighted that my mum is a resident there and she seems to be enjoying all the activities

The care home is the best I think in Sheffield. The staff are first rate. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My stepfather is very happy there.

My mother moved to Loxley Park last year from a different part of the country in order to be closer to family. She is in her 80's and was quite worried (understandably about the move). She has been made very welcome and feels content at Loxley Park. My opinion is that she is very well cared for. Staff
are flexible and reliable, which is so important. The activities schedule is full of variety and fun. The St Patricks event in March was fabulous.

This is the second time at Loxley Park and its staff have come to the rescue and provided excellent respite care for my parents. The accommodation, meals, activities and additional care have all combined to restabilise my parent's situation until they regained confidence to return to their home with
additional support and adaptions in place. We have placed their names on the waiting list in case a permanent care is needed in the future.

My elderly mother could no longer cope living on her own after the death of my father. She moved from Kent to Loxley Park as nothing local to her home could offer the services and support available at Loxley Park. She didn't want to be separated from her two pug dogs, and they were welcomed and care
and support provided to enable her to still care for them. The staff have been wonderful and caring meeting her needs in a kind and understanding way. Her one bedroom apartment has views over the old mill pond and plenty of room. The kitchen area and bathroom are both well adapted for her mobility problems.

My respite care (6/10/17-13/10/17) was a delightful stay at Loxley Park I had been last year so was familiar with the services offered. I cannot fault it. Everyone must have a diploma in kindness. One is treated with dignity and that is a good feeling about the Park. I enjoyed my stay and will come
