Loxley Park - Avery Healthcare

I have found the experience good with excellent service.

My mum is well cared for and treated with respect. As her daughter, the staff could not be more supportive, considerate and helpful. The atmosphere at Loxley Park is welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I am delighted that my mum is a resident there and she seems to be enjoying all the activities that are put on, she is stimulated and occupied. Very pleased on all accounts.

The care home is the best I think in Sheffield. The staff are first rate. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My stepfather is very happy there.

My mother moved to Loxley Park last year from a different part of the country in order to be closer to family. She is in her 80's and was quite worried (understandably about the move). She has been made very welcome and feels content at Loxley Park. My opinion is that she is very well cared for. Staff are flexible and reliable, which is so important. The activities schedule is full of variety and fun. The St Patricks event in March was fabulous.

Meals are appetizing, well presented and satisfying. Accommodation is comfortable and homely.

This is the second time at Loxley Park and its staff have come to the rescue and provided excellent respite care for my parents. The accommodation, meals, activities and additional care have all combined to restabilise my parent's situation until they regained confidence to return to their home with additional support and adaptions in place. We have placed their names on the waiting list in case a permanent care is needed in the future.

My elderly mother could no longer cope living on her own after the death of my father. She moved from Kent to Loxley Park as nothing local to her home could offer the services and support available at Loxley Park. She didn't want to be separated from her two pug dogs, and they were welcomed and care and support provided to enable her to still care for them. The staff have been wonderful and caring meeting her needs in a kind and understanding way. Her one bedroom apartment has views over the old mill pond and plenty of room. The kitchen area and bathroom are both well adapted for her mobility problems.

My respite care (6/10/17-13/10/17) was a delightful stay at Loxley Park I had been last year so was familiar with the services offered. I cannot fault it. Everyone must have a diploma in kindness. One is treated with dignity and that is a good feeling about the Park. I enjoyed my stay and will come again.

Activities are first class - excellent. They do everything that I would like to do. They are very varied and interesting. The facilities are more than adequate for me and the drinks are quite good. They get us out and about, to shows and trips around the countryside. We went away for 3 days to a Warner Hotel and we're booking again for next year!

After the original upheaval of moving, something that I will not do ever again, I am enjoying my stay at Loxley Park very much indeed.

My wife and I have only been here for fifteen days and have no other experience. We have been pleasantly surprised in many ways, not least the warmth of welcome by all the staff members at every level and also a diversity of facilities.

Apart from the obvious fact that we are all advanced in age, there is no feeling of being institutionalised. The following options should convey the detail.

FANTASTIC!! The staff and facilities are very good. My mum is happy and cared for and I am so pleased that we chose Loxley Park.

I do like my apartment and the little balcony. It's important for me that I can come to my apartment whenever I want privacy and what I do like, is that I can be downstairs (in the communal areas) and chat with friends when I want to.

Loxley Park provides a safe, friendly and professional environment for elderly, vulnerable relatives who need the availability of wrap around care. Staff are polite, caring and treat residents and relatives with dignity and respect. Food is of a high quality along with the service. Housekeeping, laundry and maintenance. Services are regular and carried out without fuss. Everyone works hard to maintain this high standard.

Possibly if one security man and one carer are on duty for two buildings, an emergency in both could be a problem.

Made to feel very welcome the staff are very helpful at all times. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them.

Friendly, professional service.

The rooms, housekeeping and activities are all excellent. The helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff on every level is excellent. My mother has been exceptionally made very welcome and the help that she has had through some of her more personal problems will not be forgotten and they have been extremely helpful. I would recommend Signature Loxley Park to anyone.

Really enjoyed my 2 weeks, very nice apartment and beautiful food, I may come back. Kind, helpful staff.
