Activities are first class - excellent. They do everything that I would like to do. They are very varied and interesting. The facilities are more than adequate for me and the drinks are quite good. They get us out and about, to shows and trips around the countryside. We went away for 3 days to a Warner
Hotel and we're booking again for next year!

My wife and I have only been here for fifteen days and have no other experience. We have been pleasantly surprised in many ways, not least the warmth of welcome by all the staff members at every level and also a diversity of facilities.


Apart from the obvious fact that we are all advanced in age,

there is no feeling of being institutionalised. The following options should convey the detail.

Whenever I've asked for advice staff have taken the time to help me, I find the staff very good and they take the time to listen.
I settled in quickly as it was a difficult time after my husband's death and staff were very understanding.
I do like my apartment and the little balcony. It's important
for me that I can come to my apartment whenever I want privacy and what I do like, is that I can be downstairs (in the communal areas) and chat with friends when I want to.

Loxley Park provides a safe, friendly and professional environment for elderly, vulnerable relatives who need the availability of wrap around care. Staff are polite, caring and treat residents and relatives with dignity and respect. Food is of a high quality along with the service. Housekeeping, laundry
and maintenance. Services are regular and carried out without fuss. Everyone works hard to maintain this high standard.

Having been here one year and ten months, my assessment is confident.
From management down, care is exemplary.
There is much laughter.
Staff both respect each other and work sensitively to meet diverse needs of individual residents.
They realise our needs vary day to day.
Variety is achieved consistently
and every opportunity taken to celebrate special occasions like Burns Night or a member's 90th birthday.
Regular members meetings are helpful.
While my husband and I are together I don't take part in activities or go on outings.
Possibly if one security man and one carer are on duty for two buildings, an emergency in both could be a problem.

The rooms, housekeeping and activities are all excellent. The helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff on every level is excellent. My mother has been exceptionally made very welcome and the help that she has had through some of her more personal problems will not be forgotten and they have been

A loving, kind, caring sharing environment. All the staff from the top down, management to cleaners, are very caring and helpful. A very clean modern residential care home. I think they are very good value for money. Good food and a variety of tea, coffee, etc and a variety of menu. A good ethos, beautiful
setting and environment. I really enjoyed my stay here amongst beautiful peaceful countryside.

Lovely atmosphere, kind, caring staff. This was further respite care for me and I am sure I will be there again at sometime in the future. The staff as well as the restaurant were excellent. The surrounding outside areas were lovely as was the drawing room and library etc.
