My mother has been in Drovers House since February and I am very happy with the standard of care she is receiving. The staff are friendly and cheerful and made time to get to know mum and help her settle into her new environment.

The competence of management and staff is excellent and professional at all times. The staff are now like an extended family and I cannot thank them enough for the care they give to mum and the reassurance they have given me.

After a stressful long-term period of the family providing 24/7 care around the clock, unfortunately, the time had come to transition grandma and grandad together into a care home. From the initial contact made by visiting the family home they exceeded our expectations and more, they both reassured and provided words of comfort when acknowledging that both grandma and grandad would be in the best possible place receiving the highest level of care. And that they have! Both moved into Drover's House on Thursday 23rd May 2024 and since we have had nothing but amazing from the team, they have updated us on all care via 'Relatives Gateway' and have personally spoken to myself, my mum and my aunt who have visited every day. Nothing is too much for the team at Drover's House and all care towards grandma and grandad has been nothing short of caring and loving. Thank you Drovers House for caring for them as though they were your own.

My mum moved into Drovers House 4 days ago. She was very down after having spent 3 weeks in a local authority home on discharge to assess. Even after a few days, mum is almost back to her old self thanks to the wonderful attitude of the staff. I am so very very grateful.

Since my mum moved into Drovers House in December 2023, we have been impressed by the high level of care and commitment of all staff members. All staff members are attentive and caring. The managers are always available and willing to discuss honestly my mum's condition and the best way to move forward with her care.

I was so comforted the moment I stepped inside and was greeted by staff. My worry about my brother's care eased as he was welcomed and settled, by what was obviously a caring staff. He needs were met with genuine caring, and as his time there continues, this high level of caring remains, which gives the loved ones of the residents peace of mind, in a distressing situation. As I visit, I am welcomed also, and feel already part of this family. That basic feeling of peace of mind is very precious to me. Genuine warm feeling and true thanks to all at Drovers House. The staff are angels on earth.

Amazing staff, friendly residents and such a lovely atmosphere, nothing is too much for any of the staff, the cafe in the front of the care home is such a lovely touch so that you can still have one on one time with my grandma.

Drovers House is a very caring home, with a relaxed and chilled-out feeling. Very homely. I have settled in well. Flexible and helped me when I was in need. Drovers came to my rescue! I especially love the staff who are fun and attentive. I particularly like the new staff and helping them to develop. I value it being central to Rugby as I am able to access the local area. I still maintain my freedom.

I enjoy plenty of laughter with the staff and the musician, this helps other residents.

My mum has been a resident at Drovers for over two years now. She is very well cared for, and all her needs are met. If she needs or wants anything, the staff will do their utmost to fulfil it. She has her own home but is incapable of living on her own, and she classes Drovers as her "home" now. She also can have regular outings with family members. She seems very happy and settled and would highly recommend Drovers to anyone in need of care for a family member.

Drovers House were fantastic in helping my father-in-law when he arrived from the hospital. The room was clean and provided all he needed. The meals were great, especially the cooked breakfast. Staff were excellent and caring.

My mum is currently a resident at Drovers House, having stayed there initially because of a bad fall at home. The staff have been so welcoming and friendly and it's been very easy for me to have conversations about Mum's care. Mum says that she feels so well looked after. What I like most about the home is that they actively encourage as much independence in living as they can with every resident. They have some great plans for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee! The residential pets (cats and chickens), the garden, cafe and hair salon all add to the sense of belonging to a neighbourhood with friends and family. I can't imagine how hard it's been during the pandemic, but every staff member I've met on my visits just puts so much effort and passion into what they do.

Dad moved into Drovers House in March and is settling in. The staff have been very understanding and have supported us all during this transition to residential care. Communication is good and they respond quickly to any concerns or queries - they are vastly experienced and have given us excellent support and advice to help Dad. Care staff are clearly happy and even at their busiest times are cheery and welcoming. The areas of the home are arranged as households, around a kitchen diner and living room - a great idea as it is homely and relaxed. We are so pleased that we chose Drovers House for Dad.

My nan became a resident of Drovers House at the height of the pandemic. This was a difficult decision for our family as we hadn’t long lost my pop and hadn’t considered the prospect of putting Nan into a home. We were unable to physically see the care home due to Covid rules, however, the staff welcomed my nan with open arms and soon got her settled. Despite the circumstances surrounding Nan becoming a resident, I can not thank the managers and the fantastic team at Drovers. Not only have they given Nan all the care she needs, their approach to the pandemic and ensuring us as a family are kept informed has been second to none. Too many to mention but big thanks to the managers and the staff for all their help, support and care since Nan arrived.

My mother has been a resident at Drovers House for four years. We are delighted.
The carers are first class, on so many occasions I’ve seen them go the extra mile to make sure residents are happy and feel cared for. They care passionately and are proud to help the residents.
Friends and relatives are made very welcome (any time pre the pandemic and as much as is safely possible during Covid times). You can quickly become a member of the Drovers family, it’s so rewarding when you join in with activities; a game of bingo or dominoes is great fun. The kettle is always on and there’s plenty of biscuits on hand.
The home manager and her senior team will always find time to listen and help where they can. If you are worried or concerned in any way make the time to talk, work with the home team to fix the problem.

If you’ve not been to Drovers House I strongly recommend you go see it for yourself.

My dear Auntie was a resident at Drovers House for 6 years and she passed away at the grand age of 102 years 4 weeks. During her time there she was very happy and well cared for. Mum was moved into Drovers for residential care several years ago due to dementia. As with all establishments, there are sometimes issues that can cause concern, once discussed with staff/management, issues are dealt with promptly and positively. Staff are always polite and helpful. Mum is cared for in a loving, positive way and I believe her needs are well catered for. During “normal” times a religious group visits weekly providing a short service for those residents wishing to attend; a hairdresser visits to maintain appearances and the home has residential pets, giving the place a home from home feel. Drovers is very spacious, airy, and clean and everywhere is well maintained, including the gardens. Laundry is well managed and food is freshly prepared and served appropriately according to individual needs. During the testing time of the pandemic, video calls were made until safe visiting could resume and the Relatives Gateway provides daily care updates. Thank you all at Drovers.

I have been very impressed with Drovers during the pandemic. They have ensured that I have been able to see my Mum on a consistent basis whilst observing social distancing rules. The facilities at Drovers are very good, and on a whole, I am very pleased with the care my Mum receives. My Mum's key worker, and many other members of staff, are very good carers.
