My brother has now been at Newlands for over 3 years now. I would not want him to go anywhere else as the care is exceptional! The carers are always warm and friendly and the home is a pleasant place to be with a good atmosphere. The home do so much with the residents including trips, parties and entertainment.
I am always kept up to date with my brothers care through chatting with carers when I visit and the portal is always useful to log on to.

It is a shame I can't give a name, but a particular staff member went above and beyond for us today. She arranged for 3 of us to have coffee and cakes in a special room with our friend. My friend didn't know, and they laid out the room beautifully, and she was really happy and smiling (we all were).
Every time I visit, all members of staff say good morning, which makes me feel welcomed.

I have been visiting Newlands since my friend moved there in 2020. The staff have always been welcoming to myself when visiting. They take very good care of my friend who now has complex needs and great difficulty communicating. When attending her care reviews I am always reassured by how well they
know her, her needs and personality. Thank you to the whole team at Newlands

I have been a trustee for a long term disabled lady who has resided at Newlands for many years. I have always been impressed by the kindly care and attention that the home has shown towards the lady who is dependent upon a wheelchair for mobility. She has her own room with ensuite facilities and is
professionally supported at all times. She is extremely happy living at the home but is able to travel into the town of Kenilworth on her own in the special mobility chair provided by the council. She takes advantage of this on most days and has developed a wide circle of friends both in the home and around the town.

The home's dedicated transport is available for longer journeys to nearby shops and restaurants. She has also been able to visit concerts, shows places of interest with an attendant carer.

It is comforting to see that she is so happy in the environment of Newlands.

I would also like to say thank you to Olu for letting resident family attend a meeting today on Dementia awareness.

Visit weekly. Always made welcome. Very good visits. Resident enjoying the build up to Christmas. Got involved with events, which was excellent as pre-resident did nothing but stayed in bed 24/7, with home care. Room is lovely. Staff attentive. Food seems well-received. Hopefully will be able to go

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
After spending the past part of last year in and out of various hospitals following numerous falls and then receiving a dementia diagnosis both the family and mum decided that she required 24hr care. We chose Drovers House mainly because of the "feel good atmosphere" that every member of this wonderful
team help to create. You are met with smiley faces from both staff and residents everywhere you go. Nothing is too much trouble, the kindness of the staff, quality of food and the comfort of her room all help to make mum feel at home. Although mum constantly declines to get involved in the numerous activities that are on offer, they never give up on her and will always try and encourage her to join in.Communication between Drovers and the family is excellent. Our family and especially mum are very happy that we chose Drovers as her "forever home".

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother had been with Woodside Care Village for over 3 years with dementia, during this time I have nothing but praise for her care during this time. The staff treated her with love and respect and looked after all of her needs, they genuinely cared about my mothers well being both mentally and physically.
She was treated like one of the family and cared for all of her needs with respect and dignity. The on-line portal I found particularly comforting as this reported her activity throughout the day, every day of the week.
I cannot thank the staff enough for all that they have done with my mothers care, she had the best care she could have received in the period she was in the care home.
A big thank you to all of the team at Woodside care village from my wife and all of the family.

I have resided here now just over a year, and I have been cared for at all times with kindness and a kind, encouraging hug in times of need. Sometimes have been an awkward resident, but cared for with grace. The food is good, and quite a few treats (I like sometimes to help) tolerated with their help.
We have a beautiful wall along a brook, with garden, fountain, chair and tables for rest and activity. Outings to interesting places, and great care. Three activities a day, seven days a week.
No problem here.

The whole Woodside team (reception, house staff, housekeepers, carers, management) have from the very beginning been very caring and proactive in ensuring that Dads individual needs are met and he has a good quality of life, regardless of the physical challenges. The house team have been wonderful,
taking time to get to know us and Dad, giving us ideas to improve his stay and the team leaders and management very diligent and prompt in alerting us to any concerns, and in responding to any queries and requests. Recently the whole team have gone above and beyond to support us in very challenging and difficult circumstances - their advice and timely support has been so appreciated, words are not sufficient to express our gratitude. They were part of the family rallying to do the best we all can for our loved ones. Heartfelt thanks again.

Happy staff and so accommodating.
Made Christmas special and the look of the decorations gave a magical feel to the place.
Had lunch with my dad and it was better than most restaurants.
