I have been looking after my Aunt at Castle Brook in Kenilworth for 5 years. The room my Aunt has was beautifully decorated with ensuite, very suitable. The food is good and the cleanliness too. But above everything are the staff. Many staff go above and beyond in caring for every tiny detail my Aunt
required. Wonderful staff settled her in, a whole team tried to get all her wishes sorted and certain staff she really trusted worked endlessly to make her happy. Thank you so much.

This care home is faultless. Staff treat my father as if he is one of their own family member. All his needs are met. Any of his needs are dealt with immediately. The home not only cares for residents, but they also care for and support their families too. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my
father is so well cared for. The staff will call me with any concerns, which I really appreciate. The home-cooked meals are excellent. I can have a meal with my father if I'm visiting too, which is lovely. My father has settled quite quickly after we lost my mum very quickly.

Staff are always very welcoming on every visit. Prior to my niece coming into Mill Green, she was very sullen and tended to stay in her bedroom 24/7. Since arriving at Mill Green, she has both physically and mentally improved, interacting more with the family when we visit. She is normally dressed (smarty).
Activities are always provided to stimulate her, and opportunities to get out and about. Most importantly, she is very complimentary about all of the staff.

At 93, leaving her home was very daunting for my mum, and the fear of the unknown resulted in her declaring she would not stay at Drayton Court. However, the staff could not do enough to allay her fears and to try and calm her. They were so patient and caring, calmly acknowledging her anxieties and
reassuring her that they were there for her. As a family it was so important to witness this, as it isn't easy deciding which home would be best suited to have the responsibility of caring for your loved one, especially when you know they are frightened.
The call I received the next day saying Mum had slept well, woken once and had a cup of tea and a chat before settling down again was a relief. What was even better was Mum's comments that day, saying she could "highly recommend the place", everyone is so kind, nothing is too much trouble"!
With dementia there are 'good' and 'bad' days but, 7 weeks on, the staff continue to be patient and caring. With their encouragement, Mum has participated in various activities and is even talking about going on some trips.

Mum joined Attleborough Grange at the beginning of February, on the whole, it has been a very positive experience. Staff here are A1. Very caring, polite, and do their jobs well. Only downside for us, was mum's room, very small, no ensuite, view of a flat roof. Not the room we was shown, which was bright,
airy and spacious. Have been assured that mum will be moved when another room is available.
Reply from Anne Myles, Home Manager at Attleborough GrangeThank you for taking the time to leave a review for us. We appreciate your feedback. The home has a range of rooms with different facilities to suit the care needs and budgets of families, and we're always happy to look at room changes where availability and circumstances allow.

Mum has been a resident at Attleborough for 18 months. The staff are friendly, caring and welcoming. The dementia care provided is excellent. The three course, main meal, served at lunch always looks delicious.
I chose this home for Mum as it feels like a home from home environment. I love the different
households, all decorated on a theme, with cosy lounges and communal areas. The home is set in lovely gardens.
We celebrated Mum's 80th Birthday last year, the staff decorated the activities room wonderfully, so we could have a family party, we all had a lovely time and have happy memories to cherish.
I do not live locally so I cannot visit Mum often. The app is excellent, an online portal where I can access Mum's care details and see how she is getting on. If I have any questions, comments or concerns about anything, the management and staff respond in a timely, appropriate manner, always very helpful and professional. Pleased Mum is cared for and living safely here.

My brother has been in the Care Home for over 5 years. He is fortunate that the Care Home arranges trips to various shows which meets his passion for live entertainment - even went to see the ABBA show in London. The most reassuring aspect is that he is happy where he is located. From recent past experience,
the Care Home kept me informed when he had a short spell in hospital. Visiting is not a problem but encouraged.

My brother has now been at Newlands for over 3 years now. I would not want him to go anywhere else as the care is exceptional! The carers are always warm and friendly and the home is a pleasant place to be with a good atmosphere. The home do so much with the residents including trips, parties and entertainment.
I am always kept up to date with my brothers care through chatting with carers when I visit and the portal is always useful to log on to.

It is a shame I can't give a name, but a particular staff member went above and beyond for us today. She arranged for 3 of us to have coffee and cakes in a special room with our friend. My friend didn't know, and they laid out the room beautifully, and she was really happy and smiling (we all were).
Every time I visit, all members of staff say good morning, which makes me feel welcomed.

I have been visiting Newlands since my friend moved there in 2020. The staff have always been welcoming to myself when visiting. They take very good care of my friend who now has complex needs and great difficulty communicating. When attending her care reviews I am always reassured by how well they
know her, her needs and personality. Thank you to the whole team at Newlands

I have been a trustee for a long term disabled lady who has resided at Newlands for many years. I have always been impressed by the kindly care and attention that the home has shown towards the lady who is dependent upon a wheelchair for mobility. She has her own room with ensuite facilities and is
professionally supported at all times. She is extremely happy living at the home but is able to travel into the town of Kenilworth on her own in the special mobility chair provided by the council. She takes advantage of this on most days and has developed a wide circle of friends both in the home and around the town.
The home's dedicated transport is available for longer journeys to nearby shops and restaurants. She has also been able to visit concerts, shows places of interest with an attendant carer.
It is comforting to see that she is so happy in the environment of Newlands.

I have been very impressed by the the caring atmosphere generated throughout Sycamores. The recent meeting with residents concentrating on dementia was an excellent example of the attitude

My Mum has been at the sycamores for two and a half years now. I am still impressed with the care they have given her from day one. The staff are so friendly and very caring looking after her. I would also like to say thank you to Olu for letting resident family attend a meeting today on Dementia awareness.
Sarah Bedding guided us through the various stages of Dementia and on how to deal with someone who has Dementia.
There always a warm welcome every time I go to visit mum.
Thank you to all the staff

Visit weekly. Always made welcome. Very good visits. Resident enjoying the build up to Christmas. Got involved with events, which was excellent as pre-resident did nothing but stayed in bed 24/7, with home care. Room is lovely. Staff attentive. Food seems well-received. Hopefully will be able to go
on a few trips when the weather improves, as very much enjoys going out.

After spending the past part of last year in and out of various hospitals following numerous falls and then receiving a dementia diagnosis both the family and mum decided that she required 24hr care. We chose Drovers House mainly because of the "feel good atmosphere" that every member of this wonderful
team help to create. You are met with smiley faces from both staff and residents everywhere you go. Nothing is too much trouble, the kindness of the staff, quality of food and the comfort of her room all help to make mum feel at home. Although mum constantly declines to get involved in the numerous activities that are on offer, they never give up on her and will always try and encourage her to join in.Communication between Drovers and the family is excellent. Our family and especially mum are very happy that we chose Drovers as her "forever home".
