We have been welcomed into the home as a family, after a stressful time of both my parents being seriously ill, unfortunately losing my dad and my mum needing much more care and support than I can manage on a daily basis. All staff are kind, polite And very sensitive to your needs as a family. My mum
has settled in very well and is receiving excellent care. I can leave her with a peaceful mind that she will have all her care and social needs met. Thank you to all staff.

I feel I need to write more as can't thank them all enough for the care and support they gave me and my mum. So happy I can be my mums daughter again and not her carer. It feel like home from home there aswell. Can not thank them enough. Feel part of there family. She always has her hair done which
she always like having done which is nice. I was offered other homes but would not have taken them. As Fairfields is beautiful she joins in with the activities. I no I can't mention names but I want to thank each and everyone for all your support and care my mum has

Mum has only just moved into Dewar Close as it was not possible for her to remain at her own home and I wanted her to be near to me in Rugby. From my first visit I knew it was going to be a lovely place for mum to stay. The carers and management staff are wonderful and really take the time to know the
residents. There are lots of activities going on which mum can either get involved with or just watch. Mum now has 24/7 care and I have peace of mind that she is being well looked after. It is a hard decision when it comes to finding a care home for a loved one but I know that Dewar Close is the best place for mum. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

My Dad has been in Attleborough Grange for just under a year now. He settled well, enjoys the food and joins in with the activities available. (Special shout out to Ruth for all she does). Dad's room is always clean and tidy and the whole home has a very homely feel. Staff are always there to help with
any queries and Dad is always treated with respect. Special mention to Michelle who always has time for a chat with me No matter how busy she is.

A warm, friendly and welcoming environment where all are treated with respect and dignity. Everyone smiles, staff, residents and visitors. Residents are recognised as individuals and given space and encouragement to be themselves.
I like the variety of seating areas around the building allowing residents
to be with others or sit in quiet comfortable smaller areas.
I highly recommend Castle Brook.

I want to give a shout out to Tanya and Zoe for their amazing Christmas decorations they made for all the residents on floor 1. They have made the floor look so bright and festive, and so welcoming it has put a smile on my face. The decorations are absolutely brilliant, I work in a primary school and
I know the children would love making these so I am definitely going to borrow their ideas.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father is very settled and safe, he said the staff are very attentive to all his needs. His room is beautiful, all his familiar things around him, like home from home. Every time I visit I am very impressed with the care he receives and how well cared for he is which gives me a great peace of mind.
It takes a great deal of strain, worry and stress away from me. The staff always knows what my father is doing.
The staff are not only there to support my father, but us as a family too. The staff have become an extension of our family. This care home made my father feel welcome as soon as he arrives and supported him the loss of our beloved mother, his wife who passed away only a few weeks previously to him coming into the home. I have already booked a room for when I get to the stage when I am unable to care for myself.

Care is given with complete dignity. I genuinely believe that some of the carers are absolute angels, the care and love they give to both of my parents is beyond belief. They really are exceptional people!
Beautifully decorated, more like a hotel than a carehome. There is a shop, a cinema, a hairdressers,
a cafe, and an icecream and popcorn dispenser.
Reception, the carers and management are very helpful.
There is a beautifully kept garden.
Food is good and it is always in ample supply.
Laudry gets a bit mixed up but providing labels are on all clothes then it's never really a problem.
There is a constant array of activities for the residents (usually 3 a day, everyday) and regular trips out on the memory maker minibus.
My dad never wanted to come to a care home but he realised that it was the best place for him and my mother during the first few minutes of entering the carehome. I think that says it all!

Dad moved into Woodside Care Village in February of this year. The first experience was with Philip who was very helpful both in understanding options regarding later life care, but also specifically how to secure a residential place here for Dad. The care of the staff has been fantastic from the very
start, it's reassuring to know that Dad isn't just another resident but someone they care for individually given he has both Parkinson's and dementia as it has progressed. The guys in the flat are extremely kind, and the attention to detail (lighting, cleanliness, outside space etc) makes for a very comfortable life for him. Thank you to everyone at Woodside!

We are delighted that we chose Woodside Care Village for Mum when she started to need care as her dementia made living on her own at home impossible. We have found that all the staff have been without fail friendly and helpful. Even more importantly they are helping Mum live the best life she can and
providing invaluable support for us as a family too.
Reply from Lorraine Herbert, General Manager at Woodside Care VillageThank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review and for your kind words. It means a lot and it's our absolute pleasure caring for your Mum. I'll share your feedback with the team. Best wishes.
