It is a very friendly atmosphere from all staff I always feel welcomed and find staff respectful and professional.

The amazing team goes above and beyond every single day, showing genuine kindness, patience, and heartfelt compassion in everything they do, ensuring that each resident feels deeply cared for, comforted, respected, and truly valued like a member of one loving family.

So pleased with the level of care my Mum receives at Mossvale. Staff and management have been fantastic and go above and beyond to help whenever needed. It feels like she is part of a little community and this has helped her (and us) settle.

My Mum came to resident at Mossvale Care Home back in June 2024 so exactly 2 years ago, she is only 73 so as you can imagine moving her into a care home at such a young age was extremely tough however from the moment we stepped foot into life at the care home, the staff have went and still go above and beyond, My Mum has put on weight, looks very healthy and over all she is so settled and I know she is well looked after. I am a regular visitor and I get on so well with all the staff I enjoy my visits with my Mum so much I love to sit and chat with all the staff and other residents, its like a home from home

Mossvale is an excellent care home - the staff are amazing and all our mum's care needs are met with dignity and compassion. The staff all know mum's family and visitors which I think speaks volumes about the genuine care the staff have for their residents. We are very happy with all aspects of care at Mossvale

Mum has been in Mossvale for over 4 years now. She is well cared for, happy and safe. The staff are so friendly to mum and our family. The activities are brilliant for stimulation and togetherness. Communication with us as a family is good too.

My mum is very well cared for and the staff are lovely and supportive. The home is clean and has a relational warmth. No one really wants to be in the position of having to find a care home for a relative but mum's safety had to come first. She has been in Mossvale Care Home for the past couple of years now and has settled in really well and loves all of the staff. Mum likes any activities with music and dancing and is happy to participate with others. The staff are caring and helpful and I can sleep at night knowing that if there are any issues I will be contacted if and when appropriate. Very happy.

Staff are friendly and caring. Looking after patients well. Always joking and having a laugh with the patients. The food is good and can take members of the family into the tearoom for some privacy. Very pleased with it.

Having made the difficult decision for Mum to go in to a care home in December 2025 I contacted Mossvale as my mother in law was previously a resident and family was happy with the care she received. Lyndsey, the manager introduced herself and was very welcoming and friendly and we were shown round the spotless care home with bright bedrooms. Although my Mum has taken time to settle in, all staff have been very kind and patient and friendly and have kept in touch by telephone and face to face and are happy to give updates about her care at any time. She has been enjoying the food and various activities including getting her nails done and hopefully in time will make friends and will enjoy sitting in the garden in the summer. Overall I am very pleased with the care she is receiving from all staff in Mossvale.

Mum recently moved in to Mossvale Care home after we made the difficult decision to have her looked after professionally given her progressing dementia. From our very first visit every member of staff has made us feel very welcome and all actively promote and provide a sense of "home" at Mossvale. Mum is settling in well so far and enjoying the company of others and the regular activities. It is still early days but from what we've seen so far we are delighted with the level of care and respect my mum is receiving.

My sister and I made the difficult decision to place our mum in a Care Home due to her dementia. In the four months she was there, she lost five stone and was severely neglected. She was left to sleep in a chair the entire time, never encouraged to go to bed, and we often found her with saturated incontinence pads, soaked from waist to knees. She had two falls, one causing a head injury. She developed grade 2 pressure sores and was only put on a pressure mattress two days before being taken to the Royal Infirmary, where she was admitted with malnutrition, dehydration close to kidney failure, and poor personal care. She had no more than three showers in four months. She entered the home able to walk with a frame but left completely bedbound. After six weeks in hospital, she gained weight, sores healed, and she became responsive again. I believe another week in the care home could have cost her life.

My mother has been resident in Mossvale for juat over a week now. She has settled very well, the room is small but comfortable and we've made it homely. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and very responsive, in my.experiemce. There's a warmth to the place in general terms, mum enjoys the food and the attention she receives. She hasnt quite made new friends yet, but that'll come and is supported by the staff. So far, I'm very happy we chose Mossvale.

Fantastic in all aspects, staff introduced themselves to me and my brother as soon as we arrived. He now thinks he stays in a 5-star hotel which in my opinion tells you how wonderful Mossvale is. So far his care has been exceptional. We had a bad experience in the past with other care homes but now he is happy and content and smiling for the first time in nearly 2 years.

Have nothing but praise for the staff in Mossvale. They do an amazing job and we know our mum is well looked after. There is an excellent activity plan every week and they do their best to get the residents out and about when possible.

Great care home. Staff very friendly. You can visit anytime. They are very transparent. Activities on each day for residents. Felt at ease visiting, and nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and tidy!

Mossvale Care Home has great, friendly, professional staff. It's got a great programme of activities for the residents and is very clean and tidy. The manageress is a lovely, friendly lady and very approachable and gets great respect from her staff and this is important.

Mother settled very well and treated very good. Very safe environment and friendly staff. Food could be better.

The hardest thing we had to do was accept my dad had to go into care. When we were shown around Mossvale Care Home it felt so homely and friendly. We have not been disappointed, my dad has been living here for several months now. Knowing he's happy, safe and well cared for is everything we wanted. The staff are all amazing and nothing is too much, they all go above and beyond. Knowing my dad is part of the Mossvale family makes leaving him there so much easier after every visit, thank you all at Mossvale!
