The communal areas provide a variety of different environments for the residents to enjoy, varying from a restaurant-style dining room to the outside terrace.
The home also has an onsite café which is stocked throughout the day with homemade cakes and treats. All friends and families are welcome to visit.
The philosophy is simple. Lakeside Manor wants everyone to enjoy life to the full and never lose sight of the individuality of the residents and treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.
Residents have freedom to choose what to do and when. There is always plenty of activity happening and the activities coordinator puts together a full 7 days a week programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of residents.
Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about. The home also has a sensory garden and a lake where residents can spend time in the tranquil settings of Lakeside Village.

Mum seems to have settled well, she seems much brighter and happier . Staff are all very welcoming and home is lovely and clean and offers a lot of different entertainment. It's great that visiting is open as she can have multiple visitors

I wanted to say how clean and clean smelling the home has become since the new manager arrived. The residents are always clean too - I see this as a way of respecting them and caring for them. My Mum is in Memory Lane and all the staff are lovely.

The care she received from the staff was excellent and I will be eternally grateful to them giving me peace of mind as to the way they administered her care, nothing was never to much trouble and I was always kept informed of any health issues she may have had, and lastly when it came to end of life care it was a pain free and peaceful end to life for my mother and were very kind and compassionate to me.
