My dad came into station lodge in June on a two week bed to assess. The management and staff were so helpful and couldn't support us enough. After being in other care home facilities that did not work out, the staff here managed my dad well and got him settled. My dad is now here permanently which we has a family are so grateful for an amazing home and staff who go above and beyond.

We've been visiting our mam for almost 2 years. Throughout this time we have been treated like family. Our mam is settled and clean and happy most days. The carers work so hard to help our mam and teh other residents feel safe and comfortable. The home itself has a bright friendly feel more like home from home.

My mother first visited Stainton Lodge Care Centre for respite care in February 2025. We found all the staff there to be very kind, caring and considerate. We feel that our mother was looked after very well and have since booked another weeks respite care for her at Stainton Lodge.
It was Lovely to see you all again, Thank you for your kind review,
My mum was transferred to Stainton Lodge in January 25 due to her Dementia becoming more advanced. I cannot thank the staff for the care they provide to my mum. She settled in very quickly and it soon became her home. The staff on her unit give more than 100pc to every resident and also support family thru challenging times. It is such a relief to know that she is being looked after not just as a job but genuinely with love which means so much to me. I could not ask for anymore than what she is receiving and fail to find any fault whatsoever, it is reassuring to know when I leave her that she is safe, cared and loved in my absence and I cant thank the staff enough for that.
Thankyou for taking the time to write this lovely review, we really appreciate all of these lovely comments.
My Step Mum has been here since Oct 24. She seems to be genuinely very happy at Stainton Lodge. She has a lovely en suite room and is well fed and well looked after by all the staff. There are regular activities, a hairdresser on site and guests are encouraged to visit and take her out. Very pleased Stainton Lodge is now her home.
That is wonderful to here, all of our staff do there very best to make all of our residents and families feel welcome at Stainton Lodge.Thank you.

The bedrooms are lovely large and airy with en-suite facilities. There is a Spacious TV lounge and nice dining room where residents can also sit and chat.
There is a huge comfortable reception area where family and friends can take residents off wards and make tea/coffee.
I cannot praise the staff enough. They go over and above and nothing is too much trouble. All staff, whatever their job, remember residents names and make a point of using them.
I couldn't be happier with the care he receives and can't thank everyone enough.

I was met by the social worker and your nurse. It was in relation to my wife's annual care review. I found the experience very professional and was treated with respect and dignity. We all left the meeting with an action plan in place, which is now in motion.
Thank you for taking the time to review us at Stainton Lodge, very much appreciated.
Experienced and caring friendly staff. The care centre offers good facilities with regular alternatives. Fun activities such as singing and dancing which my mum really enjoys! Lovely relaxing private areas are available to sit and talk to relatives. Excellent hairdressing facility with a lovely friendly hairdresser who is really good with my mum, something she enjoys visiting regularly.
Thank you for your review, this will be passed on to the staff, they love to hear your nice comments.

I am extremely happy with the care and support my father receives! The staff are amazing and always take the time to talk about how my dad is doing and they are extremely attentive with the residents! The home has a lovely feel, as soon as you walk through the door, it has such a homely feel. There's always lots of entertainment provided for the residents. The home came highly recommended to myself and I can highly recommend it to anyone! Best care home I have visited!
Thank you for this lovely review, we really appreciate this, keep enjoying the entertainment with us at Stainton Lodge. Thank you again from all of us at Stainton Lodge.
I have raised concerns on certain issues over time but they have been noted and dealt with.
Thank you for your review, very much appreciated. We love to see you at Stainton Lodge joining in with our activities.
We were looking for a home for my mother-in-law near our home. We were bringing her from Norfolk to Middlesbrough. We looked at several places for her. Stainton Lodge Care Centre was the 1st place we looked. The manager and deputy manager stayed behind after work so that my husband could be there to look around. We walked into the car park after our visit and said, 'are we going to bother looking anywhere else?' The staff had made my mother-in-law feel welcome and safe. They very quickly learnt what she needed. They are always available if we have a question. Everybody has made what could have been really difficult/upsetting easier to handle
Thank you for your review, it is always lovely to hear all of the nice comments from our lovely families.
I was so lucky to find this home for my husband. It's such an emotional rollercoaster to realise that someone you love has needs that are more than you can provide. The care my husband has received over the months he has now been resident there has really helped me to see that this was the right choice. The staff are absolutely wonderful and go above and beyond to help my husband settle and are so good to him and very kind to me. My husband is always clean and tidy when I visit, receiving the personal assistance needed to wash, shave, dress etc. His room is always clean and tidy. My husband has special dietary needs and his meal menu is catered to this. I really can't thank all the staff there enough.
Thank you so much for this lovely review, staff really do feel appreciated when reading these nice reviews.
Can’t praise this care centre and staff enough for the excellent care they give to my mother, their standards of care are second to none, meet my mam's needs 100%. Mam never settled anywhere previously but is now in her second year in Stainton, staff and management will go out there way to accommodate service users' needs. It's not only a care centre is home-from-home care. This is a place where your loved ones are respected and cared for 24/7, a place where you can visit your loved ones and feel part of a family.
Thankyou so much for your kind words, these reviews are very much appreciated and the staff love hearing this.
