Sandiacre Court Care Home is a modern, purpose-built care centre located atop Sandiacre Hill, offering stunning views over the Erewash Valley in Derbyshire. The home provides comprehensive care for up to 81 residents, specialising in residential care, nursing care, and specialist dementia care, with a dedicated dementia suite and a day care service also available.
The facilities are designed for comfort and engagement, featuring a recently revamped café in the reception area for socialising, spacious lounges, a quiet lounge, and a cinema room for dedicated movie experiences. All 81 bedrooms are single and include en-suite wet rooms. Notably, some ground-floor rooms feature patio doors providing direct, secure access to the outdoor areas.
The home’s beautiful, secure gardens are an important feature, well-stocked with plants, seating under mature trees, and decorations handcrafted by residents, encouraging outdoor activity and relaxation. A variety of activities - including gardening, crafting, games, music, and outings - are offered daily to keep residents active and entertained. Sandiacre Court is dedicated to a person-centred approach, fostering a supportive, dignified, and homely atmosphere for all residents.

Donna Evans, the friendly face you'll see at Sandiacre Court Care Centre, has been a part of the Nottinghamshire care community for over 15 years. Starting as a care assistant, Donna's passion for helping others led her to work with people of all ages, from those with learning disabilities to young adults and more recently the elderly. She's now an experienced care home manager with a thorough appreciation of how to deliver great care whilst nurturing a vibrant care community.
