My experience in visiting the home regularly has been very positive. I have been always welcomed there by all the staff and courteously treated. I have always found that my friend is well looked after and treated with the utmost respect and dignity. She has been always kept beautifully clean and well
presented by the staff. The room has been kept very clean and comfortable whilst the staff can't do enough for her.
I would certainly recommend the home and give it 10 out of 10.

My mamo has been living here since February. The home is the best place I have ever visited. The staff are absolutely amazing with my gran and us family, including my girls. My youngest is 7 and they are so good with her and the garden is amazing with things for her to play with. We go nearly every
day and I can honestly say not once have I had a bad experience here.

I would like to say all the staff at Llys y Seren have made it so easy for my mam to settle and put my mind at rest at such a hard time, the rooms are beautiful it’s spotlessly clean, the grounds are wonderful to take my mother out and the things they do to entertain them is really lovely for them and
the food they get is lovely my mam is eating much better since being there, I’d like to thank you all for your kind hearted service you give to all the old people you’re hard work is appreciated.

Lovely clean new looking home, friendly staff. The home looks like it's a hotel. We were greated by the lovely lady on reception and taken to my 94 year old nan's room which was more than adequate for her needs. We have since seen photos of her enjoying herself during the jubilee with lots of other
residents via the homes facebook page. Having lived on her own for the past 20+ years im delighted to see her looking so happy once again.

All of the staff members have been very supportive during these difficult Covid times. As a family, we have had constant updates about our relative. My gran takes part in a variety of activities and is cared for to the highest of standard.

All the staff at Llys y Seren go above and beyond for the residents here. Plenty of different activities for them all to enjoy. The home is very well presented with lots of greenery and very clean and tidy. The staff always keep you up to date with how your relative is getting on, lots of photos of
their day and have been extremely well during the pandemic keeping everyone in the loop due to no visitations allowed.

They have been fantastic from start to finish through covid. We’ve been kept up to date with how my gran is doing, what the visiting arrangements are etc.
When we were able to visit, it was done extremely safely. Which made me feel confident in how they were handling everything.
Also plenty of photos
on social media showing us the continuing activities keeping everyone busy and amused.

Llys-y-Seren has been looking after my mother extremely well for 2-years now, but I am so proud of the efforts of the staff and management during this awful period of lockdown. They have cared for my mother as if she were family, and it is very reassuring to know she's in good and safe hands.
The management
has provided the staff with PPE throughout, and they have kept me informed of all testing and test results.
However much it hurts not to see my mother during this time, I am extremely appreciative of the efforts of the staff and the management for their care and support of my mother and myself.

I can’t praise this home enough, the care and dedication shown by staff to residents and family is exceptional. Visitors are made to feel really welcome and will stop to answer any concerns you may have, nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful home.

My mother is a resident of Llys y Seren. We as a family are happy in the knowledge that our mother is safe and happy and she is looked after. Our mother always looks smart when we take her out, plenty of activities going on - there’s a list on each unit.

My mum has been here for two years, and she has got a good quality of life. My family knows she safe and if there are any problems, the staff will let us know. The home is spotless, modern and the carers are top class.

My grandmother is well cared for, every time I visit she is always doing activities. She has dementia and the staff treat her with dignity, respect and are all very caring. We as family members are also welcomed. It’s lovely to see her mixing with staff and the other residents. They do a lot of activities
to engage residents and stop them from getting bored at Llys y Seren.

I rate Llys y Seren as five-star accommodation since my mother moves to Llys y Seren from another care home I have seen a remarkable improvement in her demeanour. Every time I visit her she is contented and happy. The staff are so supportive and help her to maintain her dignity and level of independence
while making sure that all her needs are met. They ensure that she always looks neat and tidy. Her room is always kept a high standard.

There are many carers working in lots of different healthcare settings, some good and sadly some not so good. Sadly not often do you come across someone amazing. However, I feel I need to point out there are a number of amazing carers in the Brydon Unit in Llys Y Seren. One carer should be applauded
for the care, compassion, respect and dignity she displays to all residents at all times. She is truly amazing at her job and gives me so much reassurance that my mother is being cared for the way each and everyone one of us should expect for our loved ones!

Very friendly staff, a good selection of good rooms, very clean, as are the main rooms in general. Location is close to shops, medical care and a main hospital. A lot of games and activities going on all the time and outside entertainment.

My mother's previous care home was closed in extremely upsetting circumstances. She was very confused. Llys Y Seren understood this difficult situation and made a huge effort to help her settle into her new home. She did settle in quickly and began to engage with all the staff. I have nothing but praise
for all the staff who work there. She received excellent care and was treated with the utmost dignity at all times. My Mother and I were very fortunate to have their help, patience, advice and support. My mother passed away 09.03.2018, few days short of her 101st Birthday.
