Llys y Seren

On our first visit to Llys y Seren my son and I were very impressed with both the facilities and the quality of care offered to the residents. There was a really homely feel to the unit and it didn't feel at all institutionalised. Although my mother is very confused, she seemed content to be there and we were relieved that she is in safe hands. The staff all seemed very fond of the residents and dealt with them with patience and good humour.

Myself and our family are extremely happy with the support and care that my mother receives from Llys y Seren care home. We find staff and members very helpful. We cannot believe how fortunate we are to have found her such a loving place. We are very grateful to all the staff for their care and dedication to all residents. Can't praise it highly enough.

The home is divided into 6 small units housing 10 residents in each, making it very homely. Nicely situated with gardens that are secure but easily accessible to the residents. Rooms are well equipped each with ensuite shower room. The staff are excellent, very caring and understanding. Bearing in mind that the majority of the residents have dementia, nothing is too much trouble for them and you feel part of the family from the start. My mother is extremely happy and I would recommend.

The high-quality surroundings and gardens add to the comfort of the residents. We are very glad that our mother has been able to come to a place where she is so well cared for at such a vulnerable time of life. Many thanks.
