Wardley Gate

I absolutely love the staff and what they provide for my mother in law Laura.. fun activities and although she can't remember doing them due to her Alzheimer's we show her the videos and pictures that the staff take.. huge shout out to Lynne who goes above and beyond her role to make it all special.

I visited today, Tuesday, 10th Feb. The entertainment staff were absolutely brilliant with the residents. They make it look so much fun, and it was lovely to see all the residents smile and get involved. The staff are super friendly and helpful. 5 Stars

The staff have been excellent and very supportive of my mam. They have shown a real understanding of the needs she requires, very friendly and show good, good support; always refer to her using her first name.

Lovely, clean, no smells, good food, caring staff. Home in good condition. Lots of activities to join in with.

I have both parents currently in Wardley Gate. Every member of staff is always, no matter how busy, keep me updated when I visit my parents. They are very approachable and friendly. Both my parents are always dressed in clean clothes, well turned out, hair is washed, and regular hair appointments. Activities are on a regular basis and are well thought out, and staff give 100%. Both parents are extremely well taken care of.

My mam has been in Wardley Gate for 9 years, the staff are excellent and she is well looked after. The activities are excellent and Lyn does a great job decorating the home for the events ie Easter, Christmas and everything else.

A really lovely care home that provides the best care to my nana. All staff are friendly and look after her. The services the home provides are great. Staff are informative. Rooms are lovely. The effort made for special occasions, i.e. Christmas, memorial days, are excellent.

This care home is excellent. No problems at all. Care staff are fantastic. Food for mum great. Entertainment fab, could not fault it at all. Excellent.

Rooms are clean & general area's kept tidy & clean.

All the staff at Wardley seem to be very dedicated. Very friendly and competent. My mother is very well cared for, The home is always clean and the food is very good.

I have always found all the staff to be helpful, friendly and very caring. Especially on floor two. I know that my mam is always well cared for and that gives me great peace of mind.

I have always found the staff especially on floor 2 to be very caring towards my mam, going above & beyond. They always treat the residents with dignity and compassion. I walk away every visit knowing my mam is being looked after well.

Both of my parents moved into Wardley Gate in November due to dementia. The management team & staff have been outstanding in supporting my parents with the transition & although dementia means it hasn't always been plain sailing - the team at Wardley Gate have gone above & beyond in supporting my parents' needs & integrating them into their new home. There is always something going on, such as activities to help stimulate my parents & the emphasis is always on having fun. I cannot recommend Wardley Gate high enough & will be forever grateful to the staff for their care, support & kindness shown to my parents and our family.

Overall we would describe this care home as absolutely brilliant and have the assurance that she is in capable hands and being well looked after.

From the moment you step through the door you know your relatives are in good hands. The place is warm and welcoming, always decorated, with themed events. The staff acknowledge you from entry. It is clean with modern furniture, with plenty of wide open spaces for the residents to move around safely. Activities are always available for those wishing to participate and are always available for those wishing to participate and are carried out to the highest standard. The joy the residents gain from the activities is self-evident by the content. Happy and well cared for residents - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wardley Gate to one and all.

An amazing care home. Everyone working there is so friendly, professional and caring. It has a very warm, welcoming family feel. The activities organised are outstanding and everyone gets involved. The care provided to my mam is second to none. It's always spotlessly clean and very well organised. They are all very approachable and easy to talk anything over with. Couldn't praise everyone enough.

The staff have been fantastic supporting my mother move into the home. The activities are wonderful and very much enjoyed by my mother. We are very grateful for the care she is receiving and the support the staff give to us as a family.

Mam was very well cared for in the time she was at Wardley Gate. The staff are amazing, they treated her with love, respect and compassion and as a family we knew she was safe and looked after. We were also welcomed and nothing was too much bother. The home itself is extremely clean and homely. Mam had a beautiful room. The activities offered are amazing, there is such a wide variety of them.

The staff at Wardley Gate have always looked after our friend and made him feel very welcome and at home. Nothing is too much trouble, and always take the time to communicate with him and his visitors. He loves Wardley Gate and all the staff. He really enjoys taking part in activities, and it's always nice to see the photos online.

The home is perfect for my mum. She is very well looked after. This allows us (the family) to relax and know she is safe, stimulated and treated with dignity.
