Really happy with the care my dad gets. He's very well looked after and family are always made to feel accommodated when visiting. It was a hard decision for my dad to go into Wardley Gate but it was the right thing to do and he is doing so well. The social media page is great to keep us in the loop and see what he's getting up to.

Such peace of mind for any family considering care.

The home was always clean and nice smelling, the room was light and spacious. The other support organised through the home like doctors and nurses were very good when needed. The management and finance staff were also very good and informative on the business side of things. My mam's final home and I have nothing but praise for Wardley Gate and the staff that make it what it is.

The decision to move my mother into Wardley Gate was based on experiences I've had in a professional capacity having visited many of the care homes in the area. The building is fairly new, the rooms are spacious and well equipped and the facilities are modern. The décor and cleanliness are of a high standard, however, the most important aspect of any care home is the standard of care provided by the staff. In my opinion, Wardley Gate excels in this area. Based on my observations, my family and the feedback from my mother I'm very happy with the care she is receiving. I'm grateful to all staff for their professionalism, friendliness and compassion shown in providing her care and the smooth running of the home.

An excellent effort in looking after my father. The staff are so kind and attentive with him. Even over the busy period, the staff made such a fuss over all of the residents. The home itself is never anything other than spotless. It makes it so much easier knowing my Dad is well looked after.

I recently visited my aunt at Wardley Gate Care Home. It has been a difficult past couple of years for our family as we have not been able to see her as regularly as we would have liked. Wardley Gate have always accommodated us as best they could following their guidelines. My aunt is very comfortable and happy and gets on well with all of the staff who care for her. I would not hesitate to recommend Wardley Gate to any family looking for their loved ones to be living in such a caring environment.

Putting my mother into a home was heartbreaking, but the right thing to do to keep her safe. From day one the staff at Wardley Gate have been amazing. Unfortunately, my mother fell and broke her hip during the night and the staff absolutely proved how good they are. From recognising the severity of her injury, getting the right help, staying with her, reassuring and comforting her, and communicating with me, they were brilliant. Hopefully, she’ll be back at Wardley Gate soon. I’m so glad that she lives in such a lovely place with lovely skilled staff. I could never praise or thank them enough.

I cannot thank and praise all of the staff enough at Wardley Gate care home for all of the care they give, even more so at this time. They have and continue to keep our parents safe, well and happy.

Our father only moved into Wardley Gate on 25th July 2020, a couple of days before his 88th birthday but sadly passed away on 11th December 2020. However, we couldn't have asked for more from all the staff at the care home especially under the current corvid restrictions. Even though we couldn't visit him we had regular video calls and received daily updates and photo's on how he was doing. The transformation in only 4 months was amazing the staff encouraged him to walk, join in with activities and mix with other residents, all this made us feel reassured we had made the right decision moving him there and happy knowing he was looked after and cared for. Thanks to the Care Home Manager and all her team we saw him smiling, singing and being happy, or the Gramps we all used to know and that was such a comfort to all the family.

My mother in law spent her last year in the care home. She was extremely settled and happy here. The staff were fantastic, very caring and compassionate. Every aspect of her needs was catered for. When she was unable to feed herself the staff spent hours feeding her and trying to tempt her with a variety of foods. There was a good selection of activities to engage and stimulate her. She was always immaculate, well fed and looked after. Thank you for all your hard work.

Mam has been a permanent resident in Wardley Gate since April 2016 and has settled in well. She has a lovely bright room on the ground floor and now classes this as her home. Management and staff are friendly and approachable and although busy, are always there for the family as well as the resident. The entertainment staff are very good at encouraging her to join in various activities i.e, choir, Tai Chi and regular gentle exercise classes. She has formed relationships with the staff and they understand her needs and preferences. It is a relief for our family to know that she is safe and well cared for 24 hours per day and that if required, staff are happy to accompany her to hospital, even in the middle of the night and stay with her until family can get there.
