I have both parents currently in Wardley Gate. Every member of staff is always, no matter how busy, keep me updated when I visit my parents. They are very approachable and friendly. Both my parents are always dressed in clean clothes, well turned out, hair is washed, and regular hair appointments. Activities
are on a regular basis and are well thought out, and staff give 100%. Both parents are extremely well taken care of.

My mam has been in Wardley Gate for 9 years, the staff are excellent and she is well looked after. The activities are excellent and Lyn does a great job decorating the home for the events ie Easter, Christmas and everything else.

A really lovely care home that provides the best care to my nana. All staff are friendly and look after her. The services the home provides are great. Staff are informative. Rooms are lovely. The effort made for special occasions, i.e. Christmas, memorial days, are excellent.

My mam has only been in Wardley Gate for a few months but really enjoys joining in the activities with the ladies. She loves a sing song, I can see the improvement in her mood.
She is well looked after and enjoys the meals.
Rooms are clean & general area's kept tidy & clean.

My mam went into care after she had a fall she also has dementia we moved her from that care home to this so it is easier for dad to visit her without getting 3 lots of transport or waiting for someone to take him to see her. This was the best move we made she gets all the help she needs she is HAPPIER
and more content in this care. Staff go above and beyond for all their residents I can't thank them enough. We as a family can't thank them enough fof their dedication.

Both of my parents moved into Wardley Gate in November due to dementia. The management team & staff have been outstanding in supporting my parents with the transition & although dementia means it hasn't always been plain sailing - the team at Wardley Gate have gone above & beyond in supporting my parents'
needs & integrating them into their new home. There is always something going on, such as activities to help stimulate my parents & the emphasis is always on having fun. I cannot recommend Wardley Gate high enough & will be forever grateful to the staff for their care, support & kindness shown to my parents and our family.

From the moment you step through the door you know your relatives are in good hands. The place is warm and welcoming, always decorated, with themed events. The staff acknowledge you from entry. It is clean with modern furniture, with plenty of wide open spaces for the residents to move around safely.
Activities are always available for those wishing to participate and are always available for those wishing to participate and are carried out to the highest standard. The joy the residents gain from the activities is self-evident by the content. Happy and well cared for residents - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wardley Gate to one and all.

I can not speak highly enough for the care my mam receives in Byker Hall Care Home. All staff are kind and respectful of all of the residents.
My brother and I were worried and quite reluctant to put my mam into care but once we came to Byker Hall, we felt relief that Mam was going to live in a special
place. Apart from great care, I am amazed at all of the entertainment and fun everyone has.

Mam was very well cared for in the time she was at Wardley Gate. The staff are amazing, they treated her with love, respect and compassion and as a family we knew she was safe and looked after. We were also welcomed and nothing was too much bother. The home itself is extremely clean and homely. Mam
had a beautiful room. The activities offered are amazing, there is such a wide variety of them.
