Mum, was transferred to Cherry Blossom Care Home from Peterborough Hospital, as they needed the bed mum was occupying. She was very well received and all the staff was very caring. The room she was given was very well equipped, light and airy. She was moved nearer to the carers station as mum was very hard of hearing, and virtually blind. They welcomed mum into the daily activities which included games, live entertainment, musical shows, films etc. Mum also went sailing down Ferry Meadows, which she absolutely loved. At 94 years young it was an experience she spoke about numerous times. My wife and I cannot praise everybody enough for all the attention, care and love mum received for her duration of time there.

Mum entered Cherry Blossom in July 2025, the staff welcomed mum to the home and also into their hearts.
All the staff work with care and compassion, I didn't think mum would settle but she did. The standards of care shown towards all the residents is outstanding and we were always welcomed with a smile. The food was outstanding at all times with beautiful homemade traditional food, the cleanliness also was outstanding throughout the home. This truly is a super care home and don't hesitate to look around if you do find yourself in a position to place a family member there.

I'm truly grateful to all of the staff for the care the chatter and the friendliness shown towards us all. Mum passed away on the 27/10/25 but cherry blossom will remain in our hearts always . Thank you Sue and family xx

I would like to say that cherry blossom have been outstanding in the care and love they showed my father in law in his very short stay. He arrived on Thursday 30/10/25 after spending a month in the city hospital he was an advanced bladder cancer patient that had also had a stroke. He was admitted to cherry blossom with only days to live and he was treated and cared for with the upmost respect care love and respect. he passed away on 02/11/25 all the staff have been the most wonderful people not only did they care for my rather in law they also looked out for me and my family they kept us in constant supply of food and drinks in our long hours spent at the care home and nothing was to much trouble.

The staff have restored my faith in humanity again I would like to say a big thank you for all your care love and support.

Mum was placed in an interim bed at Cherry Blossom for 3 months. The care she received from manager and the team was absolutely fantastic. They were caring, compassionate and very skilled in working with Mum's complex dementia. My Dad, siblings and I are hugely grateful to all of the staff for the wonderful care she received here. The staff have created a warm, positive environment throughout the home and are patient and attentive around the clock. The lovely gardens, tasty home cooked food, cinema room and group activities all add to this high quality care home. You can feel assured that your loved ones will be safe and well cared for, and treated with dignity and respect.

Dad was placed in an interim bed for 8 weeks through June and July 2025. He settled into his spacious room well and was cared for very well by all the staff on the 2nd floor. He enjoyed the freshly prepared meals very much. He was treated with dignity and kindness by the friendly professional staff and I was always kept informed of any changes with dad in between visits. Cherry Blossom is very well managed, starting with friendly reception staff and is very clean and well maintained throughout. There were regular activities offered and it was a safe and secure environment with door codes etc. We were very happy with dad's stay here.

I have been visiting my friend here for many months now and from entering the building I am always made to feel so welcome from the friendly receptionist who always has a warm smile, to the endless staff I meet down the corridor. The home always smells clean and fresh and is so tidy. Although my friend is on a challenging unit I always find that nothing is too much trouble for the carers who do an outstanding job! My dear friend is always included in the daily activities which she really enjoys.

I have been a resident since June6th 2024, after several falls at home my children thought it best I lived in a care home. My son saw many homes but Cherry Blossom stood out. My room is spacious and I have been able to personalise it to my taste. The meals are very nice and the home always celebrate important dates with special meal which is always enjoyed. The day centre is lovely and always a variety of activities daily. I find the care staff attentive to my needs and they do a good job overall!

My dad spent his last few weeks at Cherry Blossom Care home and he was so looked after. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. Dad has been previous for respite care and it was his choice to go back there, when he realised he needed more help. From the receptionist, management, care and nursing team on the 2nd floor, the maintenance man, you were always guaranteed a friendly welcome. I always felt that dad was being very well cared for and I wish he had more time there to appreciate everything they do.

I would recommend Cherry Blossom to everyone and I thank you all for everything.

My wife and I have the privilege of visiting residents and participating in activities with them. We are impressed with the care the residents receive as it's obvious that the staff have a deep affection for the residents. The care and respect shown by staff towards the residents is truly amazing, it's as if the residents are part of their family. The staff from the receptionist, who is outstanding as the first point of contact to the nursing, carers, cleaners and maintenance staff are a real credit to your home.
