We as a family cannot fault the care and love shown to our mum. The home is always spotless and you are always made to feel welcome. The staff are very friendly and spend time engaging with residents and family. The activities team provide a very wide range of daily activities to keep everyone entertained.
The food provided is first class. The Sunday roast looks and smells amazing! I would highly recommend St Georges to anyone.

One concern seems to be lack of staff - for instance we came here in March 2024 always at 11am patients used to be servced with tea or coffee - not anymore. Also staff would be there to talk to and we were able to talk with them if we had problems - not anymore. Also at lunch times tables would be set
up - not anymore. Today 31/12/2025 I notice the staff had fetched the meals from the kitchen, surely this is not right or fair. One other thing is the amount of food waste there is after every meal I have spoken to assitant manager about this and it would be looked into.

Isobel had a major stroke in February and was severely affected incl loss of swallow and speech. In May she was ready for her discharge from hospital. But not well enough to come home. So she went to St Georges Nursing Home, particularly as they are experienced in "peg" feeding. She enjoyed good care
and kindness and made good progress being able to eat all the food she needs by the end of September, returning to our home early November. All thanks to the nursing and care at St Georges.
Reply from Helen Jones, CEO at St Georges Nursing HomeHow wonderful to read that your wife was able to recover and recuperate with us to be able to return home. That's a great success story for everyone involved. St Georges was our first home and has been dear to our hearts ever since (October 2019). We have some lovely colleagues in St Georges, they're very very capable and committed and they're also warm and jolly good fun to spend time with. This is what makes St Georges such a happy, relaxed place to be. Thank you for your feedback, it is very definitely appreciated. Best wishes, Helen

Mum entered Cherry Blossom in July 2025, the staff welcomed mum to the home and also into their hearts.
All the staff work with care and compassion, I didn't think mum would settle but she did. The standards of care shown towards all the residents is outstanding and we were always welcomed with a
smile. The food was outstanding at all times with beautiful homemade traditional food, the cleanliness also was outstanding throughout the home. This truly is a super care home and don't hesitate to look around if you do find yourself in a position to place a family member there.
I'm truly grateful to all of the staff for the care the chatter and the friendliness shown towards us all. Mum passed away on the 27/10/25 but cherry blossom will remain in our hearts always . Thank you Sue and family xx

My father has been living at Fairmile Grange and I cannot speak highly enough of the care & kindness shown by every member of staff.

Dad moved in, in July & the team have treated my father with genuine warmth, and respect. They take the time to know him as a person, not just a resident, and this

has made a huge difference to his wellbeing and happiness. In fact the Wellbeing Team are a tremendous asset ! My Dad loves taking part in the singing and dancing which he loves. As his daughter, it gives me peace of mind knowing he is safe, comfortable and cared for so thoughtfully.
Choosing a care home is never easy, but Fairmile Grange has exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you!!!

Excellant care home with vast improvements with the addition of Jane taking over the management of the facilities a few months ago. She really has steadied the ship and has a wonderful team of staff behind her. They are all very caring and attentive to the residents needs. I watch them regularly interreacting
and knowing all the residents by name and showing respect and dignity. My father has Alzeimers and complex needs which are always met from the smiling team. A special shout out to Jainey our nurse on floor one, but the whole team really deserves a shout out. Plenty of entertainment is on offer for those wishing to partake. The home is light and airy and has a tireless team keeping it clean. Thank you for giving us as a family the peace of mind that Dad is receiving the best care.

As the relative of a new resident, I am still getting to know Olive Tree House. From first impressions, I would say its greatest asset is the staff who have been friendly, helpful, informative and professional, regardless of role and status. We have been made welcome, and encouraged to participate
in the collective life of the Home and make full use of its facilities. I personally appreciate and celebrate the multi-cultural diversity of the staff, although my elderly Mum struggles at times with unusual accents and names, and is not always sure what is being said to her. That said, she is becoming very fond of some of the staff who attend to her needs on a regular basis. We have attended a couple of activity sessions with Liz which my Mum enjoyed and benefited from very much. Liz's energy and enthusiasm is infectious! The food is adequate but not always as hot as it should be. There have been issues around other residents wandering into Mum's room, which can be distressing.

Mum was well looked after in Rose Garden up to and during the end of her life. As a family we could come and go as we pleased and were well looked after by staff. Mum was always made comfortable with much dignity and always talked to mum while in the room.

Mum was welcomed from the first day of her arrival by every member of the team. As regular visitors, our family witnessed first hand the kindness and devotion shown to her on a daily basis. Mum adored everyone and loved spending time chatting and laughing with the team who made her feel recognized and
special. This meant so much to us as a family knowing that she was surrounded by such an amazing team of professionals. The activities and entertainment are incredible, with arts and crafts, gardening club, field trips, singers and cultural events. The food is excellent, not an easy task when dealing with different dietary requirements. One of the most memorable things which always stood out when visiting was the sound of staff and residents laughing and enjoying their day. This is a testament to the amazing team of professionals that work there. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful our family are to everyone for making mums last weeks so comfortable. Thank you to everyone!

I would like to say that cherry blossom have been outstanding in the care and love they showed my father in law in his very short stay. He arrived on Thursday 30/10/25 after spending a month in the city hospital he was an advanced bladder cancer patient that had also had a stroke. He was admitted to
cherry blossom with only days to live and he was treated and cared for with the upmost respect care love and respect. he passed away on 02/11/25 all the staff have been the most wonderful people not only did they care for my rather in law they also looked out for me and my family they kept us in constant supply of food and drinks in our long hours spent at the care home and nothing was to much trouble.
The staff have restored my faith in humanity again I would like to say a big thank you for all your care love and support.
