One concern seems to be lack of staff - for instance we came here in March 2024 always at 11am patients used to be servced with tea or coffee - not anymore. Also staff would be there to talk to and we were able to talk with them if we had problems - not anymore. Also at lunch times tables would be set
up - not anymore. Today 31/12/2025 I notice the staff had fetched the meals from the kitchen, surely this is not right or fair. One other thing is the amount of food waste there is after every meal I have spoken to assitant manager about this and it would be looked into.

The love and care my Dad recieves is exceptional. We were able to take him to our house for Christmas Day which he enjoyed. However, the love that was shown to him on his return made his eyes light up and his face shone with joy. I am thrilled that he feels so happy, loved and safe here. This is something
for me that money can't buy.

We visited Grandma on Christmas day, she was very comfortable and well looked after, nice sized room and very clean.
Regular check ins from staff who were all very lovely and seemed to genuinely care about her well being.
It was good to know that Grandma was in very safe hands.

As the relative of a new resident, I am still getting to know Olive Tree House. From first impressions, I would say its greatest asset is the staff who have been friendly, helpful, informative and professional, regardless of role and status. We have been made welcome, and encouraged to participate
in the collective life of the Home and make full use of its facilities. I personally appreciate and celebrate the multi-cultural diversity of the staff, although my elderly Mum struggles at times with unusual accents and names, and is not always sure what is being said to her. That said, she is becoming very fond of some of the staff who attend to her needs on a regular basis. We have attended a couple of activity sessions with Liz which my Mum enjoyed and benefited from very much. Liz's energy and enthusiasm is infectious! The food is adequate but not always as hot as it should be. There have been issues around other residents wandering into Mum's room, which can be distressing.
Reply from Helen Jones, CEO at Olive Tree HouseHello,
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I have passed your comments onto Vlad who will immediately follow up on both matters.
I agree with you about the staff. I think my colleagues are all very caring and genuinely interested in each Resident. That is what makes Olive Tree House such a lovely home. I hope your family enjoys being with us for a very long time. Best wishes, and thank you, Helen

Mum was well looked after in Rose Garden up to and during the end of her life. As a family we could come and go as we pleased and were well looked after by staff. Mum was always made comfortable with much dignity and always talked to mum while in the room.

Mum was welcomed from the first day of her arrival by every member of the team. As regular visitors, our family witnessed first hand the kindness and devotion shown to her on a daily basis. Mum adored everyone and loved spending time chatting and laughing with the team who made her feel recognized and
special. This meant so much to us as a family knowing that she was surrounded by such an amazing team of professionals. The activities and entertainment are incredible, with arts and crafts, gardening club, field trips, singers and cultural events. The food is excellent, not an easy task when dealing with different dietary requirements. One of the most memorable things which always stood out when visiting was the sound of staff and residents laughing and enjoying their day. This is a testament to the amazing team of professionals that work there. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful our family are to everyone for making mums last weeks so comfortable. Thank you to everyone!

I can't give enough praise for the fantastic nursing staff, carers, cleaners, administrators, finance and maintenance teams at Olive Tree.

The nursing team and carers have gone above and beyond with care. They are very good at anticipating needs and have a thoughtful sympathetic and kind approach -

even when circumstances are problematic.

Olive Tree is always very clean and the home cooked food is lovely. Many thanks everyone. You will all be missed :-)

My mum moved into the Grove a few months ago. The staff I met both before and since she moved in have been amazing and were a big part of choosing the home and how well mum has settled in. They all have such a positive attitude, you can tell they genuinely care about each resident and adapt the care
and activities to suit. The home is always clean when I visit. If mum has a problem, the GP is called promptly and they keep me informed. Although it is a smaller home than some, the separate lounges give residents different areas to relax in and there always seems to be a lot going on. They take trips out to local events and put on events in support local and national charities, which the residents love. I am so grateful for how well they look after mum and how safe she is at The Grove.
Reply from Helen Jones, CEO at The GroveThank you for your considered feedback and review. I believe the warmth and compassion of the team are what makes the difference in a home. My colleagues in the Grove are all very positive and genuinely care about their' residents! The fact that the home is smaller is quite comforting to the residents. Everyone feels very much relaxed and at home. Your comments will be gratefully received by all of my colleagues, thank you, Helen

Rose Gardens continues to be the right home for my mum. Mum is not mum of a social person so misses out on the every day activities most of the time - but is very keen on having chats with all the staff and residents if they pass her room - mum enjoys the activities she gets to, but does not remember
them soon after, dementia is very sad to be feen by the family and friends but the staff/residents are always ready to help with mum however they can. Many thanks, always.

My husband has recently become a resident due to his declining Alzheimer's. As soon as I walked through the door, everything about the nursing, especially the atmosphere, was very calming. My Auntie really didn't want to leave her home and go into a care home, but the staff have helped her to settle really well. They have encouraged her out of her bedroom and she is socialising really well, thus combating the isolation and loneliness she felt previously. The staff are attentive to her
needs and nothing is too much trouble. It is very clean and tidy. She loves sitting in the garden and they always have snacks available including fruit. They have been outstanding at taking my Auntie out including going to church services, which is important for her. We really have nothing to fault + we're so pleased we found this home.

All staff maintain their serenity at all times. They are extremely friendly to all residents, guests and colleagues, emotionally aware and affectionate in an entirely appropriate manner. I'm delighted to entrust my father's care to each and every one of them. The communal spaces are light and airy,
attractively decorated and very comfortable. A wide variety of activities is organised focussing on stimulation, fun, inclusion or the boosting of self-esteem. I appreciate it's an expensive business but prices in this country are, frankly, outrageous. The expression 'fleeced' comes to mind.
Reply from Helen Jones, CEO at The GroveHello,Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. My colleagues are exactly the right people to be serving and caring for our residents. We're very fortunate to be working with them, they will be delighted to receive your compliments. With reference to prices, I'm sorry you've used the word 'fleeced' but I understand the feeling behind the word. I can only assure you that we take all possible efforts to minimise any increase to our charges at all times. Our industry has faced some enormous price hikes lately, we're hopeful a period of stabilisation is coming. Notwithstanding that comment, your feedback is very welcome and we're pleased to be serving your Dad and your family. With my best wishes, Helen
