My mother stayed at Tremona for respite care whilst my husband and I went on holiday. She was naturally apprehensive as this was her first stay in a care home. Tremona had only been open for a couple of months and everything was new and fresh. The friendliness of the staff made mum feel welcome and at ease. She enjoyed the food and loved the room she occupied. She made friends at the home during her short stay and at regular events that Tremona invite her to attend means that when she returns for a further stay the staff and surroundings will be familiar. Tremona has a nice feel to it and I would highly recommend it to others.
As a visitor I am always greeted warmly and find the staff second to none. The home is very clean and very well appointment. It's a great experience!

I visit my friend 2-3 times a week the staff are always very friendly and if I have mentioned any problem it has been dealt with straight away. My friend is happy at Tremona but more importantly feels very safe here. The food is served on time on tables that are always nicely made up and never hurried. Residents feelings and dignity are always top of the staff's list and I would (although a long way off the time) be more than happy to retire to Tremona. If I had one complaint it would be that the wardrobes are far too small to hold summer/winter clothes.

I started to work for B&M Care in 2007 at the original Tremona Care Home in Watford, before transferring to Montrose and then back to Tremona when the home re-opened in 2015. With a genuine passion for delivering a highly-personalised lifestyle to those in the home, my career has seen me ‘rise through the ranks’ from Senior Care Assistant to my most recent promotion to Home Manager in 2019. Having completed the company’s in-house Management Development Pathway in 2016, other qualifications have since been acquired, including a QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
