My mother has been a resident at Manor Grange for over a year now, during which time she has been made very comfortable and well looked after by all the staff. The friendly staff have gone out of their way to keep the family well informed and have answered any queries that we have had. The home itself (and grounds) are kept spotless and a wide range of facilities and variable daily activities are available to the residents. Can't recommend Manor Grange and its staff highly enough.

Manor Grange provides truly outstanding care for our mother. We looked at lots of care homes to find the right one for Mum and the warm, caring and welcoming environment at Manor Grange suited Mum perfectly. The management and staff are amazing and are always very friendly and responsive. A great activities programme means there is always something interesting going on and Mum has especially enjoyed joining in with all of these. A beautiful setting overlooking a golf course and an extensive garden is also a massive positive. Highly recommend for your loved one.

Mum has been a resident for 20 months and the care without exception has been exemplary, the carers at Manor Grange are fantastic and are completely focused on the needs of the residents. The interaction and bond between residents and carers is so natural and knowing that this high level of care is provided is so reassuring. I cannot praise the carers highly enough.

My mum was admitted to Manor Grange at the end of May and has settled in very quickly due in no small part to all the staff who are all very attentive and create a warm, caring environment for my mum and are always very happy to make time to speak with me and support me whenever needed.

I cannot speak highly enough of Manor Grange.

Staff are so friendly kind and caring and the events organised are brilliant.

I am so happy my friend is being so well cared for. I know that he is in safe capable hands. It's not an easy job a lot of people have dementia and it's difficult for the staff but they are always professional.

The moment that I walked in the door of Manor Grange Care Home and saw the smiles from the residents and carers alike, I knew that this was the right place for my wife. On first arrival, when met by the unit manager and her team, my wife responded verbally for the first time in six months. My wife was relaxed and happy to be home in Edinburgh. Thank you to the manager and especially the deputy manager for bringing her home so that she could be at peace at last.

Dad has been treated with care and dignity since moving to Manor Grange. Most staff members will take time to char and acknowledge him. There are activities he can enjoy and join in with. The catering is good and the host very welcoming. My only observation would be that there could be more care staff around to help. Also with the number of dementia residents, more specific training could be provided for their care and wellbeing.

My father-in-law entered Manor Grange after having been admitted to the hospital three times in six weeks, and his home care team wasn't coping at home. During this time, he lost weight. His dementia seemed more advanced, and his mobility was very poor. Four months later, he looks well, moving well, and his cognition has improved so much that he is back using his mobile to call family and comments that it's like having a conversation with him ten years ago! His sense of humour has also returned. We have Dad back - all down to care and activities at Manor Grange.

My wife, an Alzheimer's sufferer, has been in Manor Grange Care Home since April 2023. She has settled in well which was greatly helped by the friendly and helpful attitude of all the staff. She now happily refers to Manor Grange as "home" and waves me off when I depart. The staff and management have been very supportive to me as well. The staff have been very efficient and professional when dealing with medical or behavioural issues arising from the Alzheimer's.

My mum has been in Manor Grange for 8 months and has Dementia and Alzheimer's. The staff really make you feel welcome and this is emphasised in the care and variety of activities provided. Nothing is perfect in this world and the staff are always willing to take suggestions onboard to make things better. The management team are key to this and all the staff are always willing to chat, and provide updates.
The care home is always a friendly place with staff being attentive to the residents with a well-organised 7-day-a-week activities program to provide not only stimulation but also fun! Providing opportunities for residents to help with day-to-day tasks around the home is also a very welcome feature.

Thank you all!

I moved my husband to Manor Grange from another care home. He settled immediately into his new routine quickly and is now content and showing a marked improvement in his health.
