My Mother has been a resident at Barnes Lodge for over a year now and I feel that her wellbeing has improved significantly over this time. This is in no doubt, down to the excellent care and attention that she receives from the staff/carers.

My mother had a brief respite stay in Barnes Lodge to attend a series of family functions in the region. From first arrival staff were accommodating and welcoming - her daily requirements were met in a kind and considerate manner which accommodated the somewhat varied itinerary my Mother had during
her visit.

The staff are all very caring and patient with the residents. I am particularly impressed by the activities staff who work hard to provide varied activities such as cooking, flower arranging, armchair exercises and sports and quizzes.

During our mother's stay, we were delighted with her care in every area. We did not want our mother to move care homes, as she was very happy 'in her bubble'. Unfortunately, she was moved due to circumstances beyond our control.
