My sister and I placed our Mum at Northbourne Court and she was no longer capable of remaining at the assisted living facility she was at due to constant falls in December.

We were so pleased with the tremendous standard of care she received since day one. As Mum had dementia she was first placed on a Dementia ward but unfortunately the other residents condition was much more profound than hers which made socialising difficult. We raised this with the management and they agreed and within 24 hours she was relocated to Wordsworth ward which has been perfect. All the staff have been caring and attentive and the home is of a very good standard. It is always clean and the facilities are excellent.

During the eleven months Mum was there till her death she was happy and stimulated. We were consulted fully when Mums condition deteriorated and our wishes were all met.

We as a family could not had been happier with the care given at Northbourne Court.

When I first came to the home a year ago things were not very good but we have had a new maneger and the staff and activities have improved a great deal.

I've been here for about seven months. It's a comfortable home and I feel well cared for. The place is kept clean, and activites staff try to offer something that will appeal to all of us - a variety of activities. I couldn't live on my own anymore and here is the best place for me.

I just wanted to compliment ALL of the hard working cleaners for their excellent work. Always cheerful with a smile! Sharon recently gave Mum's room extra clean & it looked really good.

Bridge Haven is an ideal care home for my husband Richard, it is brilliantly clean everywhere with no smell. It is all on one level which is ideal. The staff are very supportive and have a sense of humour. Richard was made to feel very welcome. The security is excellent, the food is good. The management are wonderful, very caring and understanding. They go that extra mile. I feel very confident that Richard will be well cared for here and that his needs will be met. The managing of the medication is superb.

Northbourne have been brilliant looking After Dad. He Died last Wednesday. Everyone in Dickens Ward was fantastic. However One Carer, Michael, was exceptional. He made my dads last few months so much easier. Please can you make Sure Michael is praised for All his Work

My husband has been a resident at Riverdale Court since February 2024 - when he first moved in I knew he was in the right place, the staff were very welcoming and made him feel welcome and comfortable. The care from the staff is excellent, nothing is too much trouble - they want him to feel happy and engaged with activities if he would like to. The meals are very good and plentiful with a good mixture of healthy diet. I am most appreciative of the staff doing the job that I am unable to. Thank you very much.

All staff are very friendly and are more than happy to help you or help with any inquiries. If you have any issues with any care issues they are happy to help and sort out a solution. From reception to domestics to care staff they are very happy to see you.

Staff are very caring & relate well to residence & they make it real as a community.

Mum's 90th birthday which we organised was very well covered by staff. Clare and her team were very attentive to all the residents, not just Christine a good time with Olivia-Grace the singer was enjoyed by all.

We have seen a huge improvement with mum (Sue) over the last few weeks. She seems much more alert, engaged and "with it". It is lovely to see her more settled and herself again. We are very pleased with the care and support she is receiving, and it is clear that she is benefitting from the environment and staff. I have marked four for room as I think it could benefit from a lick of paint. And Dickens Dining Room.

The care and attention Gary receives goes way and beyond. He is so happy here. I thank every one for looking after him so very well. 100% all staff and I meal all staff are so helpful friendly and I know Gary is in safe hands. Thank you soo very much

My father had two weeks of respite at Bridge Haven in July. He looked so well and was back to his old self when we collected him. He did so well there he is going to be a permanent resident soon

The care stuff that was on at 5.15 today 22/8/26 were absolutely lovely and kind . They always polite to us and my grandma and show her respect. They make her freshly cooked eggs. And always offer her a yogurt if she doesn't feel like eating.

We visit our friend at Puddingstone Grange every two weeks. He is always pleased to see us and is very happy at his stay there. He enjoys the food and has a very nice room with his own television. The staff are very friendly and always ask if we would like a cup of tea during our visit.

I would choose Parkview any day. They care about their residents.
