Staff were very caring and supportive.
Looked after Mum's every need.
All staff have played a role in looking after Mum.

Awful place, not fit for purpose. The staff do not wear correct PPE, no choice for residents, sat in their bedrooms day in, day out. Told when to go to bed and being shouted at, it's a disgrace. Would not have these people look after my dog.

Throughout my time at Green Lane, I have been shown nothing but kindness by every single member of staff. The cleaners have been thorough and the kitchen staff provides a nutritious variety of meals. Whatever needs I have had they have been really well attended to in a pleasant courteous manner. I will
miss everyone very much and can only say to management, admin and everyone thank you so much.

I am very happy to be here, as I feel the staff are doing everything they can to enable me to cope when I return home. The physio is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I also feel in safe hands with the nursing care I receive.

The staff worked hard and were very good and friendly during visits. My cousin was well looked after and all of his care needs were met. The staff were respectful and considerate of his needs when administering medicines and treatments. I was kept informed by the nurses, physio and management when necessary
on my cousin's progress or changes to treatment.

My 95-year-old mum was moved into Green Lane after a 6-week spell in hospital during which time her mobility deteriorated and she could no longer stand or walk when she arrived. The occupational therapy staff did their best but it soon became obvious she needed full-time nursing care. She was treated
at Green Lane with care, respect and kindness.

Very friendly helpful staff who have worked tirelessly with my elderly and frail mother to give her back some quality of life. Straight on the issue of overmedication and physio, both of which have been needed for some 12 months. Thanks to all for the care and consideration. Mum has come on leaps and

Absolutely fabulous place with kind, generous and knowledgeable staff who take great care with the elderly. I would not hesitate to recommend Green Lane to anyone. An absolute credit to all the staff and a gem of a place. Thank you, everyone, at Green Lane for looking after my mum so well.

Two carers went above and beyond their duties so many times. They were outstanding. Management were brilliant and flexible when we needed help and support. My mum enjoyed the meals. The home was the best one she has been to, while she's needed help.

My mother was only in your care for four days before she passed away. The staff were very friendly and caring towards her. We feel as if she had the best possible care in her last few days. She said how lucky and happy she was to be at Green Lane.
She particularly enjoyed the last bath and hairdressing
appointment that your kind staff gave her.

No other care home experience to compare with. Mainly satisfied with the care, most of the care workers are polite, caring and treat their patients with extreme patience and dignity, sadly let down by a few. Not sure about night staffing as Mum says they do not answer her bell, she has to bang on the
table and shout for help. Also, night staff are supposedly meant to change glass and water on table, but dirty glasses have been found on many occasions. Signage of facility could be better as need to go upstairs and no sign to indicate this.

From day one, Mum was treated with first-class care. She had all her needs looked after as and when she needed them.
The staff were wonderful and the food also.
My own dad has stayed here in the past and also received the same excellent care.
I would recommend this care home without hesitation.

Sean has worked in Health and Social Care for over 32 years. He began his career as a Registered Nurse and over the years has worked in many clinical roles within the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, as well as being a Regulation Inspector for CQC for 7 years. Sean’s biggest achievement is being happily married with 3 grown-up children. To relax and take a break from working, he enjoys reading non-fiction stories and playing golf with his pals.
