I visited my friend at Christmas and received a warm welcome from staff and some of the residents. Beautiful ambience. Lovely homemade decorations. Always look forward to seeing my friend where she is happy and cared for so well. I would be happy to come as a resident.

Braeburn Lodge is a small, homely care home offering the personal touch to Mum.
The staff are very caring and loving and they go out of their way to make life happy and safe for Mum.
They have many activities and Mum often goes out in the minibus to singing, coffee mornings and the riverside.
The food is home-cooked and nutritious.

I would highly recommend this home.

My mother has been a resident for about two years. The best possible care has been given to her. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and are very caring They have supported both my mother and myself through the dementia trial. I would and do recommend them 100%.

Braeburn Lodge has been a true blessing for Mum and our family. The staff are incredibly kind and compassionate, always going the extra mile to ensure her comfort and well-being. The facility is clean, inviting and well-maintained. We're particularly impressed with the variety of activities and social opportunities offered to residents. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares about each resident and we feel confident that Mum is in good hands.

The staff made every effort to make my aunt's remaining life as enjoyable as possible, taking her out for visits to cafés and enabling her to enjoy being outside in the home's garden.

She wasn't the easiest of people to deal with due to her medical conditions but received the utmost care.

My Grandpa currently resides at Braeburn and will be for the foreseeable. We, as a family, feel as though the Gods were smiling at us when he was offered a place there. Although it was emotional for everyone, all the staff could not have been more empathetic.
Every visit is like going to visit him at home, but better. There's such a friendly, homely and community feel there. Mealtimes are like a family affair lovingly prepped by their extremely fun chef.
There's a wide range of activities both on and off-site. The garden, in Summer, is stunning too.
The staff and manager, are always available to discuss and allay any issues or queries.

Most importantly, my Grandfather couldn't be happier.

Pa moved to Braeburn Lodge during April 2024, since then he has made excellent use of its facilities - activities and outings, a spacious room to retire to for rest and relaxation, a varied, daily menu, beautiful gardens full of colour throughout the summer months and, so important for him, plenty of laughter! The staff are professional, caring and friendly. Pa enjoys the company of residents whenever he wishes to socialise and the care team when he requires assistance or just a chat. The care itself is exemplary. Pa's 103rd birthday was a day marked by celebrations with residents, staff and visitors. The huge bonus of Braeburn is its size - small and with a 'family' feel to it. My own family are delighted that Braeburn is now home to their amazing grandpa. The care and social interaction it provides have given him a whole new lease of life.

A true home from home. Beautiful bedrooms, excellent food and unquestionably good care. Mum was extremely well looked after during a period of respite care at Braeburn in January this year. The staff are all lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. I highly recommend Braeburn Lodge for the care of a loved one.

As with previous visits, my partner and I were made most welcome when we visited my aunt. It is abundantly clear that my aunt feels so comfortable and 'at home' at Braeburn Lodge. We were aware that in the weeks prior to our visit the residents had a very full itinerary of visits out and shows at Braeburn Lodge, the care there seems quite exceptional. Five stars all round!

I came to visit my great aunt for Xmas, she was very happily engaged in an activity when I arrived. The home looked very clean and very welcoming the staff were very inviting and looked after us very well with offering us refreshments and asked if they could get anything else for us, we sat in the dining area that had a very nice warm atmosphere and felt very much like a family home. My great aunt couldn’t stop talking about all the lovely staff and what she had been up to. I felt that my great aunt was very happy and was very well looked after.

Braeburn Lodge is a lovely, homely setting and the staff were wonderful with my husband. He was extremely well looked after and the professionalism and attention to detail about his dementia needs and contact with our GP was very reassuring. No detail was too small. There was plenty for him to do and I was very confident that he was in the best of care. I will definitely want him to go back there should the need arise again. A very high standard of cleanliness at all times in all areas of the Lodge. I can't praise the staff enough.

My mum is 93 and lives in an assisted living apartment. She fell and injured her hip and needed a period of respite care to help with medication during the day and night and support with standing and moving around. Her confidence took a severe dent and she was suffering great pain in her hip. After staying at Braeburn Lodge for six weeks, she no longer has pain in her hip and her movement is back to her pre-fall days. She has been very happy here and found the staff very nice to talk to and reassuring with her anxiety levels. There has been a lot going on over the Christmas period, which she has enjoyed no end and she has enjoyed simply sitting in the lounge and being part of the community. We've taken Mum out every week during her stay and she was always very happy to return and was always welcomed back warmly by one of the staff as she went in. Thank you to all the staff for looking after my mum so well and maintaining such a kind and caring home for your residents.

What a lovely care home. My dad stayed for 3 weeks respite, the manager and all the staff are really attentive, caring and fun. The home is so clean and we love the dining room, all the residents sitting around one large table. The food is delicious. The staff really listened to any concerns we had relating to Dad's first stay with them. The room was spacious, plenty of storage and was spotless. Would recommend definitely recommend Braeburn Care Home.
