During the year that my mother-in-law was at Kingsfield Court, I have never seen anything untoward. The patience, care and compassion of the staff are exemplary including the end-of-life care which was faultless. The building is super clean and the food is appetising. Every resident is well-treated and personalised. Well done to all and thank you.

Kingsfield Court offers a very friendly, caring environment. It is like walking into a hotel, not a care home. My aunt has always praised staff for their level of care. The food at Kingsfield is amazing, the catering staff produce amazing food, and it is always presented in a lovely way. They 100% offer a person-centred approach to the care they provide in all areas.

I felt everyone was very helpful today and I am hoping that my uncle continues to get good attention with his recovery and swallowing. Lovely home.

Popped in to see an old friend. First time since she had moved into Kingsfield Court. Lovely, clean and tidy building and very friendly staff. Made me feel very welcome. Very homely. Was shown to my friend's room by the lovely receptionist and offered a cup of tea by the lady with the tea trolley. Good to catch up and to be made to feel so welcome.

Mum is 93, has vascular dementia and has severe mobility issues. The decision to move into a care home was agonising. Our first impression of Kingsfield Court was telling... as nice as the decor is, it was the impact the staff had on us that made the decision easier. They have shown that they actually care. This has been demonstrated in so many ways too numerous to list. At home, she was confined to her room for over a year as we couldn't get her up and down the stairs. At Kingsfield Court, she has a much better quality of life, is able to join in with activities if she wants and has much more contact with others than before. The recent and continuing decline has shown Kingsfield Court acts very professionally in the care they give, whilst also showing they actually do care. They really do try to engender a 'home from home' atmosphere there. From the moment you walk through the reception, you feel that. Appreciate all the staff there for the kindness and care they give Mum.

My 92 year old aunt was admitted to Kingsfield Court on the 23rd December 2022 initially for 4 weeks respite care. She had had several falls at home and had recently returned from hospital and was finding it harder to cope. The staff were absolutely amazing. The member of staff on reception is like a guardian angel. On our arrival staff came into the room who had cared for my aunt and uncle previously to make her feel more comfortable and welcome. It made the whole experience so much more reassuring. Prior to moving to Kingsfield Court my aunt didn’t leave her house or talk to any people outside the immediate family. She now has a regular stroll with her walker and talks to people who are out and about. She enjoys having her hair styled weekly and her nails painted. Her quality of life is so much better. Needless to say, she is now a permanent resident. Thank you so much for all you do. You are all amazing.

Since moving into Kingsfield Court last November (2022), the family have seen a big improvement in our brother's health. It's reassuring to know that he is being cared for so well. His mobility is so much better along with his appetite, communication (apart from his hearing which is in the process of being dealt with) and social awareness taking part in the daily activities made available. The staff are faultless from the lady on reception to the carers who are all so friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kingfisher Court to anyone in similar circumstances.

My loved one is happy and very well looked after. We live far away and are not able to see him as much as we would like, so it's nice to keep up with pictures and going on social media. We must say they do have lots of things to keep them busy which is great! Well done Kingsfield.

Also to the lovely receptionist who went out of her way and above and beyond her role. I ordered a Christmas present for my uncle and I knew it would not be gift-wrapped but she kindly offered to do this. Thank you so much.

Kingsfield Court has the perfect balance of professional and personal approaches. Throughout my mother's stay, the covid19 pandemic has been ongoing, resulting in a number of unavoidable lockdowns. Staff closest to her have kept me informed and managed to meet her very complex care needs far better than we were able at home. She's prone to falls and when these seem more serious, I'm able to go in and await medical care with her. Admin staff are equally caring friendly and efficient. It's actually a pleasure to wait in reception for lateral flow test results - or was until the cushions were removed. It made the seats uncomfortably deep. Please replace at least one for us tiny visitors with our own health issues.
Whenever I've had a concern, it has been investigated and either explained, or quickly remedied where possible.

My father recently chose to become a resident and has blossomed, which I feel says everything

My mother is happy and well cared for by all staff and they are very helpful. The food is beautiful and varied regularly. If I have a criticism at all, it would be around the communication between staff and families. There needs to be some continuation and joining up of conversations and requests followed up and feedback given.

We attended a family BBQ on Saturday 11.9.21. This was the first opportunity to have a get together for many months. It was a huge success, enjoyed by all. The staff had worked very hard and their hard work was much appreciated both by residents and relatives.

Staff look after residents with much care and love one would think they were related to them. They are encouraged to maintain as many activities as they wish to join in, including tending their own patio area to grow plants and vegetables. On visits, residents are always happy and smiling. Through covid, I felt my relative was cared for in a very safe environment. Catering is like being in a 5 star hotel, wonderful.

It was my first visit to Kingsfield Court on Saturday but I had heard about how impressive it was as my friend's mother, who is also my friend, was one of the first residents.
The decor and layout of the home is so wonderful. I loved the wallpaper and pictures.
My friend's mum has been so well looked after and anything that is needed to be reported to my friend was done so straight away and dealt with.

Such a good care home.

Mum stayed here for respite in June. Unfortunately, there was a Covid case so no activities were available as all residents were locked down in their rooms.
Mum is vegetarian but the food was neither appetising nor nutritious.
Every night she was woken by another resident wandering into her room. On more than one occasion she was shouted at by the other resident, causing her incredible distress both during the day and at night.
We were assured that she would not be placed on the same floor as dementia patients but at this was not the case.

Mum was not happy staying there at all.
