Overall Experience
My aunt moved into Kingsfield Court initially for emergency respite as my uncle had been admitted to hospital. From the first contact, I cannot fault the care and attention to detail. All staff have gone above and beyond to make my aunt feel welcome and to reassure me that she is in the best place.
One member of staff, in particular, has been such tremendous support throughout this very difficult time, I cannot thank her enough.

I would not hesitate to recommend Kingsfield Court to anyone requiring residential care.

Dad who is 94, was independent until he fell at home and needed 24/7 support. Kingsfield Court were very proactive in getting him in at the end of October and he was obviously benefitting from the care and attention he received. He had a lovely ground floor room with a door to the outside. When we Skyped he always looked smart and comfortable and would say how good the food was and lovely the staff were. We had looked forward to visiting and seeing the home for ourselves when Covid 19 restrictions eased. We also know he was receiving excellent medical attention to his various conditions as well as efforts to improve his mobility. He is not the most gregarious person and was generally happy in his room although we are aware the staff were doing their best to get him out. Unfortunately, he became unwell and ultimately was rushed into Leicester Royal Infirmary with internal bleeding. The staff kept us informed of his condition as well as ensuring close medical attention. We hope he will return.

During the ten weeks my Mum was at this care home she received excellent care. I spent many hours with her during her final days and was able to witness first-hand everything this home offered. Yes, there were issues, mostly to do with staffing levels, as with all homes, but overall I don't believe Mum could have been in a better place.

My husband has been a resident here for the last five months. His treatment from everyone - carers, kitchen staff, cleaners, office staff, has been exceptional. They all seem to really care for him and make him feel comfortable and wanted. I have nothing but praise for everyone at Kingsfield Court.

Kingsfield Court is a lovely, bright and modern care home.

It's my first experience of having a close relative move into care and all the staff have been supportive towards both my mum and her family. We are able to visit whenever we want and everyone is always very welcoming.

My partner arrived in March 2019 from another place. As this was a new home the standard has improved and we are happy with the standard. Her condition has also improved which we feel things are right.

We are grateful for the help and care.

Both of my parents are in Kingsfield Court. They are very happy and say that they are both very well cared for. My parents are in their late 80s and being at Kingsfield has enabled them to stay together and share all that Kingsfield has to offer. Mum said to me "You wouldn't get better in a 5 star London hotel!". My dad suffers with dementia and we have seen a real improvement with his outlook since being at Kingsfield. We find all the staff very efficient, caring and compassionate towards all of the residents. It ticks all of the boxes for Mum and Dad and our family.

I cannot speak too highly of the home. It is well designed with excellent facilities and is beautifully decorated, however, the most important and best aspect is the quality of both the staff (all staff not just care staff) and management. All the staff are well trained and very professional and clearly, enjoy working here. They take pride in the home and in their work. The atmosphere is a genuinely happy one. The staff are patient and caring with residents and spend time engaging with them and encouraging them to engage with each other.

As you walk through the door of Kingsfield Court you have a warm welcome, the management and staff treat you as an individual with respect and that they care.
Mum is treated with dignity and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff for her needs. The facilities are amazing it is like a 5-star hotel with excellent cleanliness. Her room is beautiful and she has a variety of food and drink.

As her daughter, I can walk away with feeling happy that mum is safe and being well cared for by all staff and management keep up the excellent work.
