Five Rivers Living Ltd hosts 50 ensuite bedrooms and is a purpose-built care home that has been sensitively designed to meet the needs of older people with residential or dementia needs.

The home nurtures a caring atmosphere encouraging family unity. It is run by a team who strive to care for loved ones with a standard of excellence, without exception.

Located just a few minutes’ drive from the bustling centre of Beaumont Leys shopping centre Five Rivers is situated in the heart of Leicestershire.

The home is near the glorious Bradgate Park, Leicester town and other surroundings that offer plenty of history and memorabilia.

There are plenty of local shops around and facilities to choose from Fosse park is also located within close proximity. A GP, Dentist and NHS facilities are on the doorstep.

There is a full activities programme in the home based upon the interests and abilities of the service users. Five Rivers Living employs an activities co-ordinator who organises a wide variety of activities to suit the needs of the service user. For those who do not wish to participate in a group environment, the home can offer one to one support.

My brother with dementia went into Five Rivers Living after being asked to leave his previous care home due to his behaviour, even though it was a highly rated dementia care home. After a few hiccups my brother settled in well, his behaviour became much better, and his general health improved, but most
importantly, he was very happy there. This care home has a real family feel about it, the staff are brilliant and well led by management that are "hands on" and know the residents personally. I can't thank everyone enough for the memorable times I spent with my brother, and how happy he was.

It is now 12 months since mum went to Five Rivers Living.
All of the staff at every level have far exceeded our expectations. All are friendly and approachable, but excellent in their roles. They also know how to have a laugh and joke with mum as well as know when more support or empathy is needed.
As
a family, we can not express our thanks enough for all they do for mum (and she feels the same). We feel very lucky that mum is a permanent resident at Five Rivers and happy that she is safe and well cared for at every level.

Where do I even begin my nana became a resident at 5 rivers due to declining health dementia and skin cancer she was beyond challenging and I'm in no doubt that the care she was given was above and beyond the staff and management treated her with love and care and respect even though she was so nasty
and even violent at times they treated my grandad like family when he would visit and always looked after him when he was there I honestly do not think I could have chosen a better care home it's light and airy and modern always clean and food always looked good my nana sadly passed away due to her skin cancer and till the very end we would not have wanted anyone else to care for her every single member of staff I met along this journey I cannot thank them enough and will be forever greatful to them all

Very happy with the care home. My uncle has very complex needs that take up a lot of time and understanding. The management keeps us updated and is open and honest with the needs required. They are supportive and try to implement different things to support his needs. They keep him safe at all times.

Five Rivers is a wonderful, friendly, clean and caring home. When moving my mum with advanced dementia 10 months ago we were very concerned with how she would settle as she did not respond well to carers at home. We couldn't be any more delighted with the home. She has a lovely clean, bright en-suite
room. Her appearance is always clean and she always has a smile on her face when staff talk to her. She is very happy there. They even look after my dad as he spends every day at the home visiting my mum. The lounge is nice and bright and beautifully decorated. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My autistic children are very sensitive to their environment and they love visiting their nana in the cinema room, watching cartoons and having a biscuit. My mum never asks to go home which is very reassuring. I would highly recommend.
