Five Rivers Living Ltd hosts 50 ensuite bedrooms and is a purpose-built care home that has been sensitively designed to meet the needs of older people with residential or dementia needs.

The home nurtures a caring atmosphere encouraging family unity. It is run by a team who strive to care for loved ones with a standard of excellence, without exception.

Located just a few minutes’ drive from the bustling centre of Beaumont Leys shopping centre Five Rivers is situated in the heart of Leicestershire.

The home is near the glorious Bradgate Park, Leicester town and other surroundings that offer plenty of history and memorabilia.

There are plenty of local shops around and facilities to choose from Fosse park is also located within close proximity. A GP, Dentist and NHS facilities are on the doorstep.

There is a full activities programme in the home based upon the interests and abilities of the service users. Five Rivers Living employs an activities co-ordinator who organises a wide variety of activities to suit the needs of the service user. For those who do not wish to participate in a group environment, the home can offer one to one support.

Food choice preference and diet management assessments are carried out when new service users reside at the home. The catering team provide a healthy, enjoyable balanced diet. This includes consideration of food allergies/intolerances, in addition to different dietary needs based on religious belief and cultural lifestyles.

Unfortunately, my Mother was taken into care around 6 months ago, very much against her will. We chose 5R for her because it seemed very clean and modern and the staff was helpful. Since that time, I would say the staff have gone out of their way to manage a difficult situation and make this work for
my Mother. I hugely appreciate the efforts of the individual staff who provide my Mother's care needs - unfortunately owing to her condition she is not always grateful, and I know this requires an effort to rise above. My Mother has always been very independent but sociable - I visit her twice weekly, and gradually she has settled in. I know she appreciates the physical environment and enjoys her room and ensuite shower/WC. Whenever I meet the management they always seem very professional, and I believe they are sincerely striving to make 5R the best it can be. On behalf of my family, I'd like to thank them for their support at what has been a very difficult time.

My nan seems very happy and has been talking more. Looked after well and is now eating and drinking and is settling in well with support from staff. Management and staff are very helpful and nothing is too much.

Issues raised are always addressed. The staff staff are very pleasant but with a bit more training for new and refresh with old staff would benefit the home greatly. A good home.

Betty was very unsettled when she arrived but she has now settled nicely and is very happy here. She gets on well with the staff and they attend to her every need. The family are pleased with her care, she enjoys the meals provided. The staff are very engaging with her.

Staff are all excellent and treat my mother very well. I was worried about my mother going into care but the change in her is second to none. She is happy and chats more. The home is spotless and she has made lots of friends.

I feel the warm atmosphere when I visit, I feel my dad is safe and looked after well, staff are approachable and friendly and address me by name. I feel comfortable and it gives me peace of mind. My overall experience of Five Rivers Living has been of both friendliness and approachability from the management and staff.
We visit daily to see my aged grandma and the home is always clean and tidy. Her room is well-appointed, spacious with an ensuite wetroom. Gran has formed good relationships
with several members of the care team, who are both supportive and kind.

The current manager has been so kind during the two weeks my dad spent in respite care at the care home. The carers were helpful and were chatty with Dad. The facility and grounds are always well-maintained. Previously the former management team was poor, but since the current manager has arrived I
have seen big changes for the better and the care home is making huge improvements under her guidance.

I have recently visited Five Rivers Living and was pleasantly impressed as I entered the care home, I was greeted by a lovely bubbly outgoing career that took me to a large open-plan lounge area where my friend was.
They had an arts and crafts afternoon being run and saw all residents enjoying themselves
and getting involved, I was offered a cup of tea and asked if I wanted any cake.
I was met by the care home manager, who gave me an extremely in-depth update on my friend and how he was getting on, I noticed he had put on weight which is fantastic as he had found it difficult to do at home.
The whole team were absolutely amazing and were engaging with all the residents, all outstanding and their work and dedication are second to none.
The care home was clean, tidy and respectable and residents were active.
The care home is a very vibrant place and staff and management always giving over 100%.
I would highly recommend Five Rivers Living.

Five Rivers provides a loving and caring environment for those in need of full-time support. Very happy with the treatment my mother has received for a very difficult-to-manage condition. She is always treated with dignity and the utmost care. The staff are very kind and supportive and are always on

My experience has been top-notch, all staff are really friendly and helpful. The management team are outstanding, any concern I have is dealt with promptly, I am treated with so much respect and consideration and staff and management have a laugh with me. The carers are very kind and compassionate, they really do care. My grandma has been very challenging for the carers and I feel very bad for the challenges they have faced but I want them to know I appreciate the care they have given. I am sorry if my grandma has upset any of the staff.

Dad has just moved to Five Rivers and the team have made him very welcome. They have taken the to really get to know us and Dad and allow him to be himself. They allow Dad the freedom to be as independent as he can be while making sure he is happy and healthy and all his needs are met. Dad has settled
really quickly and we all enjoy the family feel of Five Rivers.
