Five Rivers is a wonderful, friendly, clean and caring home. When moving my mum with advanced dementia 10 months ago we were very concerned with how she would settle as she did not respond well to carers at home. We couldn't be any more delighted with the home. She has a lovely clean, bright en-suite room. Her appearance is always clean and she always has a smile on her face when staff talk to her. She is very happy there. They even look after my dad as he spends every day at the home visiting my mum. The lounge is nice and bright and beautifully decorated. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My autistic children are very sensitive to their environment and they love visiting their nana in the cinema room, watching cartoons and having a biscuit. My mum never asks to go home which is very reassuring. I would highly recommend.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! We're delighted your mum is happy and settled, and that your family feels welcome here. It means so much to us!

When I visit my daughter I find everyone is very pleasant and they call me mum. Everywhere is clean and tidy. I come to all the activities they have here like the Easter Egg Raffle with prizes, drawing and colouring Easter Eggs and chicks. They had a clothes sale with somebody from a market stall and had a singer so we could join in singing. It is a pleasure to visit my daughter and I always get a cup of tea. I think it is a good home for convalescence or retirement. There is a BBQ tomorrow.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoy visiting your daughter and that our team makes you feel welcome. It's great that you participate in our activities, and we're glad you find the environment clean and inviting. it was great seeing you at the BBQ .
Mum is much happier now settled in a family-friendly environment. In a lovely room, able to have her own choice of linen for her bed, and all her entertainment within reach especially her smart TV. All the staff have built a very good rapport with mum and her family. All are approachable and keen to help with mum's needs. Very good at referring to multidisciplinary teams for example GP, District Nurse, Physio when needed. Food and drinks - good choices and enjoyed by mum. It would be better if hot meals were still hot when served as on occasions have not been. Mum does not like to complain, I am a happy daughter.
Thank you for the positive feedback! We're delighted to hear that your mum is happy and well-settled. We'll address the issue with the meal temperatures to ensure they are consistently hot. We're glad you're satisfied with the care she's receiving and appreciate your input.

When visiting Mum (often unannounced) she is always found well dressed and clean which in itself is quite a challenge with mum. She seems to fit in well and the staff are always available and so helpful. Because she has settled in so well really does help us to relax more.

I have had to attend hospital and needed respite for my mum we have used Five Rivers Living previously and because of mum's outstanding care on her last stay, we opted to ask them again. I have lived at Five Rivers for 6 months now and I have had a very positive experience living here. All the staff and management work very hard to keep all the residents clean and happy. Always willing to help whenever needed. The home is very clean and each room is cleared every day. The activities staff are amazing, having activities morning and afternoon to keep us entertained. We have had fetes, ladies' afternoon tea and gentlemen's afternoon. More entertainment is planned for future BBQs with the family members to attend too.
