Lavender Court Care Home is situated in the beautiful seaside town of Perranporth just on the north coast of Cornwall. Providing residential care to 35 residents the passionate care team is on hand 24 hours a day providing assistance with all everyday tasks required. Each resident has a tailored, person-centred care plan, which allows for plenty of choice specific to each individual.

Lavender Court can accommodate those requiring residential care and care for those living with dementia. Permanent placements or shorter respite breaks are offered for those wanting some TLC or support whilst families go on holiday. Understanding that moving into a care home can be very daunting and life changing there is flexibility to trial a respite period prior to making that important decision.

The home has a very welcoming and friendly feel to it with spacious homely communal areas and a beautiful garden. All of the bedrooms are spacious, fully furnished and come complete with an en-suite and television.

The chef at Lavender provides nutritionally balanced and varied menu choices to suit every taste and nutritional need. Lavender Court has a Wellbeing Coordinator who provides a varied activity programme whether that is a group activity, one to one time, arranging entertainment or bringing the community into the home, there is always something for everyone.

Dad has been looked after very well and the staff are friendly and helpful. Dad's wife passed away in June and the home has been very helpful with transferring all contact to myself and my wife. Dad loves his food and is fed well and looked after well

My husband is resident in Lavenders Court. He is being very well cared for. The staff are very helpful, answers any queries I may have regarding health and welfare. His room os kept clean. The food is suitable for the residents. The management are always on hand to speak to relatives. I have no complaints,
apart from the lack of parking. With new apartments being added this could be a real problem.

Mum received the best care from the time she arrived at Lavender Court in January to her death in May. In particular, the family would like to praise both day and night staff on duty the weekend of her death. They looked after us with as much kindness as they did mum. Lavender Court may not be the most

Dad became a resident at Lavender Court, following another care home. Lavender Court provides a 'homely environment' where residents and visitors feel welcomed. All of the staff are professional, caring and supportive to dad and us. Staff are adaptive in their approach to individual residents. We have
been kept fully informed of dad's day to day needs and medical needs. Dad appears settled, and especially likes the 'gravy' at mealtimes, apparently the best! It is always difficult to leave your loved one in residential care, but knowing dad is cared for, makes it easier for us too. Thank you to all the staff, medical professionals who visit too!

The manager and all the care team could not have done anything any better.
My mother was there for 18 months and I cannot fault the care she received.
In the last few weeks of her care they could not have been more considerate, helpful, caring, and all around wonderful. It helped the whole family
negotiate these awful times.
The care they gave my mother was exemplary and the support for the family fantastic.
Cannot recommend highly enough and would give them 10 stars if I could. Jill and family.

My mum has been a resident for the past 2 and a quarter years. I have personally received the kind welcome Mum received, and my family and I have always been made welcome.
During her stay Mum has continued on her cognitive decline along with her many health conditions leading to a number of emergencies.
Every time and every day the whole staff have been so kind and caring. Mum died two days ago at the age of 89 1/2. Mum's request was to stay at the home indeed her home, although she often asked me "where is this place?".
Mum's final three days were a true and total example of the very best and sincere care that these folks provide.
Not only were they keeping Mum safe and pain free but loving and caring for her and us as a resident family.
If a care home becomes the best choice for anyone let it be like or actually be Lavender Court!

Generally the care home is very good but the wi-fi is rubbish, my sisters daughter lives overseas and the only way we can rely on her being able to have a conversation with her in when we use my phone. She has a portal but the reception is poor.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, the issue with the Wi-Fi is an external issue that the providers have been trying to rectify for over a year. They have recently replaced the telegraph pole on the road outside and are in the process of connecting us up to it over the next few months. We understand your concern regarding the internet but we are doing everything within our power to rectify this and unfortunately at the mercy of the wife provider. I'm really glad you are very happy with all other aspects of your sister's care and the home. I will pass the feedback on to the team.

My Mother has been at the home for almost 12 months now and her care throughout this period has been exemplary. The management team are always there to speak to support our family and answer any of our questions. The staff are always caring, thoughtful and respectful towards our mother and her needs
and ensuring she is well looked after. Security in the home is excellent but at the same time very flexible in allowing us to take Mum out whenever we can. Thank you everyone.

Mum moved to Lavender Court twelve months ago and we couldn't be happier. Staff are fantastic, so caring and friendly and efficient.

My father here is very happy and feels very at home. The staff are wonderful and very helpful.
The rooms are cleaned by a lady who is very excellent job. Everyone extremely helpful. I nearly checked myself in.

My experience of Lavender Court has been exceptional, the staff are very friendly and caring. The management is always on hand to help and sort out any problems if they arise. My mum seems very content here and I know she is being well looked after. There is usually something going on, games, crafts
etc. for residents to be involved in. I would recommend Lavender Court to anyone.

Lavender Court Care Home took care of my husband for 18 months, having been admitted with dementia and during that time took him to hospital for eye appointments and cared for him when he had chest infections. He enjoyed the entertainment and visits from people bringing in animals for them to see. The
staff always made us (the family) welcome.

I had friends in Lavender Court over the last 2 years. They were husband and wife. Every time I visited them I found the staff very friendly, empathic and very helpful. The home was always very clean and tidy. My friends always looked very clean and very well looked after, even her hair looked lovely.
I was very surprised as when her husband died the carer even accompanied her to his funeral to save me having to come and pick her up. There were activities to do and she even had a party for her birthday. I would definitely recommend this home.

Mum was only with Lavender Court for 5 weeks before her passing but I was so impressed with the care she was shown and support to both of us. The staff is excellent, very friendly, totally professional and approachable. I thank the whole team for looking after my mum.

I visited today to see a close friend who has advanced dementia, I am a GP. On arrival, we were met by a very friendly carer who took us to our friend and made us feel very welcome. The home is beautifully decorated in bright colours and images, providing a warm, calm experience. After working in many
dementia care homes in a professional role, this is the warmest, friendliest home I have been in, I would be happy to recommend this care home to a relative.

So pleased that our mum is in Lavender Court! She has been there for nearly 2 years now and during that time, has received excellent care. All of the management and staff (too many to name individually) show considerable compassion, patience and understanding whilst doing a very difficult job. My
sister and I live a long way from Perranporth but our minds are at rest knowing that mum is being so well looked after. On our recent visit, we noticed how clean the care home is and how tasty the food looked. The staff encourage mum to eat and to participate in the entertainment on offer. It was heartwarming to see her so happy even though she regrettably doesn't understand too much. Huge thanks to everyone at Lavender Court.

My mum has been at Lavender Court for 18 months and I cannot speak highly of the care she receives. The carers are very dedicated to all residents, they are very helpful, kind and considerate, and nothing is too much trouble. I'm often offered a cup of tea and biscuits when visiting, even when they
are busy with other residents. Management are equally as dedicated and caring, they keep me informed when my mum is poorly or had a fall at any point. Again, nothing is too much trouble and always have time for a chat to put my mind at ease. My mum has the best care possible and I would highly recommend Lavender Court as a care home. Thank you to all the staff for their dedication and care.

My father has been a resident since July 2021. Lavender Court has a really homely feel about it, this is in part due to the warm and bright interior but also because of the warm, caring and dedicated care team. My father is very well cared for, always clean, well dressed and very well fed. He is warm
and most importantly safe. I have great peace of mind knowing that he is in the best place for his needs.
